I’m a complete introvert and hate to talk about myself, so I will keep it short! I’m what you could call a second generation ‘stoner’. Brought up by hippies, I always knew about Cannabis growing up. I was younger than 10 when I saw my first plants. I saw light coming out from around my dad’s closet door, opened it up to find a tray of tiny clones he was looking after for a friend. My love for the plant developed as a medicine. I was majoring science in college but had to drop out due to illness before diagnosis. I threw up everything I ate for almost a year due to pain, and ended up on IV’s, morphine and steroids in hospital. Autoimmune issues caused bad ulceration from stomach through to the small intestine, with constant sickness and cramping. Before that I had only grown a few times for recreational use, but realised some cultivars of Cannabis really alleviated my symptoms more than any pharmaceuticals could. It gave me back a semblance of normality. From then I’ve been trying to find the best plants for my conditions and learning to grow them as healthy as possible for the best quality medicine. One day it’s my dream to breed plants for specific Cannabinoids and Medicinal uses. Over the years I have also developed a love and passion for the cultivation. The simple act of being a steward and nurturing a thing of beauty to it’s full potential has become a form of meditation for me. When I’m with the plants, nothing else matters. I can just enjoy the moment with them. I’m always looking for new things to try. Seedsman offer the best selection of reputable breeders around and put out their own great genetics. Yes you can get in hydro but it’s a little harder because of all the Nitrates. You need to reduce all sources of Nitrogen after around week 4 to encourage senescence and have plenty of light, 900+ PAR, which I think brings out the darker colours in certain genetics. ---

Mr nice is fire. I love you bro! Extremely thankful to have met you! I do want to ask what strains benefit you most? My wife has auto immune diseases. And botched surgery(during hysterectomy)where doctors burnt her bowels but could not find where they burnt them. Cut her wide open pulled all of her bowels out then just stuffed them back in and said “we can’t find the burn, if you have extreme pain come back to the emergency room.” Since then she has had nothing but problems. So that part why I ask your particular strain that are most helpful. Also let’s breed and find those strains of medicine. ---

Lux/lumen meters read only what the human eye can see, PAR (+ePAR) is Photosynthetic Active Radiation and what the plant can actually use to photosynthesise. There are some estimate conversion equations/charts available, but they depends on what meter and lights you are using. Thanks. Yes when you were talking about going on biologics and mentioned about ending up in hospital it reminded me a lot of my late teens. My Consultant has wanted me on them for a few years now but I have managed with diet and Cannabis. You’ve probably looked into it but a lot of foods/alcohol can be very aggravating for immune conditions. Yeah, I usually get close to 4oz per plant so 3-4lb a run depending on cultivars. Don’t think I’ve done an actual landrace, but I’d like to. Kushs all work great, will definitely try Hindu. It really depends on your feed strength and CO2 levels, most plants can’t handle much over 1000 PPFD without CO2 levels also over 1000PPM. ---

Love you too bro 💚 Real pleasure getting to know you. For me anything heavy sedative Indica dominant, Kushs mainly. I seem to build a tolerance fast so need a few to rotate through. Sativas tent to be more racey, make me more sensitive, and don’t deal with nausea well so reduce appetite. Feel for your wife, that sounds awful, and it’s no fun your own body fighting you. 🙏 Does she find some work better that others? ---

Very nice, wish we could sit and have a smoke together. Give it a try! Yes, Im very aware of certain foods and lifestyle can make a huge difference. Even the way you consume cannabis for medicine. Biologics have been a game changer for me. I tried everything hoping it would stop but unfortunately cannabis alone wasn’t enough. I was wasting away. I couldn’t eat. My stomach quit working. Gastroporisis. Being self employed and trying to run a small business and homeschool a 13 year old, I was desperate! I was losing the battle. My family was watching me suffer, that was the hardest for me. Cannabis has definitely given me some much needed relief, I don’t like taking prescription pain pills. Music and gardening help me take my mind off all of it. I forget there’s anything wrong with me. Being able to talk with someone else about is really nice too. ---

She has auto immune diseases and has for many years, she’s been through it all but it all seemed to start after her botched surgery. She taken all the meds and actually had to stop them all cold turkey and turn to faith food and cannabis, yes indicas seem help more with aches and pains but some sativa do help her get up and get motivated. With rheumatoid arthritis movement is key and also key for life. You know a body in motion tends to stay in motion and a body at rest tends to stay at rest. Where rest(too much) makes things worse and harder to move. Then there is the mental strength needed to move on with auto immune and sometimes getting high as you know can change your perspective even if temporary. We all know that one hit we take when everything seems ok now for the moment. ---
