Ok, just checked in on the seeds
, they not ready
, and a little dry
the heating pad is not on![]()

![]()
![]()
not sure what the deal is,
Turned back on, says it’s warming up.
Hmmm, most strange…![]()
![]()
, will check in a couple hours, see if it’s still warm. I can feel it warming up..![]()
I dunno..
Whats happened?![]()
I’m not sure?? It seems to be working fine now.
It doesn’t have a timer or anything, other stuff plugged into the same plug
, they fine.
I can only imagine it may have overheated and shut off.
I’m watching it now, turned it down to 80, make sure it stays on
Watch after it every hour should be enough ![]()
Upon further investigation ![]()
![]()
![]()
, the little controller box had fallen behind the fridge and was telling the mat it was 93 degrees in the room and it simply didn’t think it was needed.
That’s my theory as of now
if it stays on, then it should be fine. If it goes off again, must be an issue with the thermostat. I’ve got gramas heating pad for her back as a backup ![]()
![]()
it’ll work ![]()
Sounds very plausible to me. If the sensor says it’s enough…it’s good you have a back up![]()
![]()
Been a few hours and all seems well,
One of those “weirdshitz” things…
It’s amazing how much that seems to happen to me..??,![]()
![]()
So, with all systems operating, for now, we continue with the germinating, since I’m not sure when it quit, I’m not sure how long they will take.
Will check at about midnight
, see if anything happening
A few will definitely sprout by tomorrow, and some roots should be visible. I’m pretty sure that’s how it’ll go![]()
…pop pop pop pop
![]()
Okay
, mowed grass most of the day. But did manage to get the rest of the wiring ran![]()
![]()
Only thing left electric wise, is put the outlet in on the back wall, the wire is there, just, no
wall![]()
it coming,
lol.
What’s the freaking hold up?![]()
The hold up is the new fresh air vents. We don’t have them yet.![]()
![]()
![]()
, so that is on the schedule for tomorrow. Need a quick trip to the diy HVAC shop and pilfer some duct working parts.
It will run 2-4 inch ducts from the floor, where the fresh air intake will be, pulling cool air from under the crawl space, up to the vents that will be mounted about the level of the lights.
Once that’s done, we can button up the walls, and start the actual install of the system(s).
We are setting up the room for the 4 pot hydro system and 4 of those fancy areoponic systems.
If it works out for us, it will be relatively easy to convert the hydro system to areoponic.
That’s a topic for future reference.
We plan on running both systems with the same girls, see what happens.
Got to pick up another breaker and it’s a done deal ![]()
So we’ve added 4 total, with the 3 original, 7 plugs should cover it.
Oh yeah we cooking now! Lol good job bud ![]()
Thanks buddy, it pasted the smoke test!
Pretty good job ![]()
Rain and more rain
,
Just now moving on, so should be decent the rest of today
Checked in on the seeds
They steamy in there, swollen, cracked, tails just emerging.
Looking like we better get a few cups ready for tonight
We’ve had enough rain, too—now the sun really needs to shine!![]()
Yeah I think we’ve had a whole summer worth of rain this week
All right
,
Just checked in on the seeds ![]()
We there ![]()
Get some stuff ready and have a midnight planting,
2324 now
Auto Reload
Midnight in the Missouri Ozarks, and, just as the days of old, we set out to plant our seeds.
Only now, I don’t need to be sneaky about it. So, with the lights on, and not a care at all who sees me do it, I plant.
Put them back on the mat and cover them up. I keep the bottom of the can with water with them. Cover them up and back to waiting.
There’s a lot of waiting when growing
The line up is Girl Scout Cookies
This makes 16 straight for the homemade “you kan two can tuna can kancan” still working on a shorter name
Blueberry girl scout…whats in back?
