I love going out early in the morning and checking my plants out check to see if they need watering look for an any insect activity or plant damage of any kind.
WITH my grow on top of an eastern facing hill, the plants wake up and spread thier leaves grabbing every ray of sun. As you can see the sun over my shoulder hitting these seven and half foot beauties. THIS is the Pineapple og. Although theier still in the veg. state and havent started budding i think they’re gorgeous.

Just noticed this morning the 9lb hammer and Cinderella 99 were up to about 5 feet 
, with a few more weeks to go, think I’ll make 6 foot by flower

9lb hammer is that an auto .And I think im going to add Cinderella 99 next year to my grow list . SO far for next yrs out door grow I have sherbanger, blue dream , purple Orioz, bandana jealousy , black sugar and gush minttz.

That’s going to be an awesome line up, I, too, am already planning next year got Afghan kush and Laughing Buddha, Granddaddy purple, purple ghost candy so far, I’ll end up with a list of about 50 I’ll have to widdle down to a reasonable 12 to 15
They got 9lb in auto form…I have seen it a few times…can’t remember exactly where off top but ive seen it
Im open for other suggestions. That Purple Ghost Candy sounds like one ilike
I’ve not had much luck with autos but Im still have one in the ground .cause I hate to fail at anything and especially with something I’ve done for years

Im going to master how to grow autos out side its just a matter of time and experimentation and hopefuly some good advice from folks like you. I was hesitant on tryin to plant one late in the season but then was advised that I had Time by either Steven and Marc I planted one as it comes on Ill be asking more questions about it to try keeping it on track.
They trick to autos is simply environment.
Perhaps someone can help me understand why this is.
The photo plants and the ruderalis are sturdy and hardy by nature.
So what’s going on with the genetics side that is making them so temperamental?
Yeah I got that other auto just starting to get going. Should put it finishing mid October
My theory; as they evolved in the cold mountains, mostly rocky cliff faces and no good fertile soil they are very sensitive and have to finish ASAP. If the roots get root bound early they trigger flowering as to not out-grow the available space. If they got too big any winds would rip them up and send them down the mountain. Any seeds produced is a success for them, even a 10" plant.

Nice the Gorilla Zittles I put in on your asvice is doing well just reached about 12 inches and is starting to leaf up nicely .Given it ninety days from plant shoul put maturity at first of September. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping nothing sets ut off
I think I understand your theory . But what about the strains that arent from mountain areas. And I thought it was the genetic manipulation that was producing autos and the fast strains. Not one particular strain from a mountain region. Please Im not trying to be argumentive .Im learning and by asking question I get clear understanding.
The auto trait comes from Cannabis Ruderalis, from northern regions of Eastern Europe and Russia.

On autos its all about getting great genetics for sure they have to be very stable for sure! Need some recommended stuff hit me up if needed…ull pay more up front but have % good stable gear to work with
ON one grown outside . How often do you recommend watering do they require the soil to be a little more moist than photo.s. And what kind of if any fertilizer and do they require less nitrogen during the veg. State than photos. TOLD you i have lots of question concerning autos as I have failed terribly this year with them on my first attempt to grow them
Moist not wet! No different really just gotta watch a pattern…but if bigger in flower for sure can easily be watered every day to every other…and no they need nitro in veg for sure and back off later closer to chop some guys drop nitro all together but they need alil even in flower
