Im skipped last summer. I was thinking of starting some photos and making them mother plants So when fall get here ill have clone . Im in the process clone one right now. Ill see now it gos. Any tips on mother plants or cloneing. My last attempt at cloning 3 out 4 made roots. I played around with them. I put one dwc and got it to 6w or 7w bloom befor i pulled the plug on it. The pm got it . 2th still alive in drit. 3rd one i pulled the plug on when switch dwc containers. I want to end up switching from cocc to dwc im just now getting over the overhead of switching from drit to coco.
Man honestly, I’d just get yourself some fast flowering cultys and find one you like that adapts well to your environment and go with that if you want to keep mamas. Get some good beans and clone them away till you find one that shines! Gonna take quite a while to get your clone up to mama status, and especially if you are limited on space, one I know of does well and is a freebie as of late was amnesia fast and jealousy fast that make good produce

Mother plants are actually easy once started most morher plants live 3-30 years but can live longer then your children it’s easy to keep alive once you got it most people use a 150 gallon or 50 gallon so they don’t ever have to move it as it grows all you do is never switch to flowering it’s very easy
I have no advice on clones I’ve never attempted it thought it was hard judt now learning it’s not that hard
Give a clone or 2 to a close friend. Just in case something happens you can always ask for a cutting. Life can get in the way and it’s very possible to lose your crop. Once you do find something you really like, I’d also recommend setting aside a couple clones to backcross so you can preserve your favorites.
This year im going to try cloning a lot more and have a couple mothers and dad’s to clone off of
