That’s always a good sign. It would suck if it didn’t smell at all.

Never done sog only scrog

Right now, five. Three Widow, two Cheetah.

I’ve had eight in a 2x4, but that was too cramped.

I’ve done the same, or even slightly better canopy with two plants, but it takes longer.

Troy, the Northern Scrogger, can do that canopy with one plant. Takes forever.

I used my scrog net to separate the tops, then a trellis for upper support.

Yeah, that looks really nice. Even canopy and strong stems. We’ve done that, scrogged a beast of a plant in a 5x8. Filled the whole side. It takes longer but we did get a lot off her.

I have this thing about time. Probably follows me from my prohibition days. The most quality product I can push out in the least amount of time is how I’ve worked for years. One of the reasons hydro works for me; screw up pH, EC, noot lockout, whatever, just flush, and replace the noots at 1/2 strength, you see results in hours.

Lol. I know you told me the longer they grow the more problems you start to get. Lol. Same with Coco Coir and perlite. My husband grew hydro long time ago. The Omega gardens were a thing back then. Even now if I see deficiency, I’ll hit em with a synthetic to quick fix it.

How long do you veg

Depends on the strain. If big plants or sats, seven to ten days. Short fat plants, three to six weeks. Really, how ever long it takes to get a fully developed plant that’s 18" tall. That’s what I put into flower.

Gotcha, we veg until we get them big as we want them. Usually when they get potted up to a 10 gallon pot. That’s fun transplanting,:flexed_biceps:

Again! You folks are amazing growers! Pro’s for sure! I’ve some White Widows and hopeful and also hopeful I can keep them under wraps for height!

I agree :+1::100:, which is why we are staying with the hydro system. And our next logical up step would be a NAF. It’s pretty easy to screw up, but just as easy to fix.

How high up you put your screens?

The plants tell me! :pink_heart:

In this case at day 7 of flower, I installed the scrog net to give direction to all the tops.

Near the end of stretch, I installed the trellis for lateral support. The net and trellis are roughly 8" apart. The tallest two were 10" above the trellis and were super-cropped to keep them in line with the rest of the canopy. The next tallest two are 8" above the trellis and leaning hard.
