Extremely happy about Seedsman, the community and help. I’m retired from an incredibly risky and demanding career now with bad arthritis for which, among other maladies choose no medications but after conferring with my doctor and research find myself believing wholeheartedly in cannabis for help. I’ve also been a landscape and gardening professional maintaining large compost pile mixtures and growing all our vegetables to the point of giving away big supplies to others and food banks. Here’s looking forward to help as I’m very new to this topic. Thank you!
So glad to be a part of creating a great community networking platform,I have met so many amazing growers in seedsman discord community and I’m looking forward to this new adventure
Hey there I’m an old hippie been growing for 53 years what a journey wouldn’t change a thing…looking forward to seeing what the group has been growing!
Retired automation engineer here, whose obsessions and brain time seem now to be stuck on grow automation. Have been happily working on OPEN SOURCING ALL grow tent control systems. with a bunch of grows of course under my belt, current ops have the following automations in use:
Main tent only vents on CO2 and VPD
1- Vivosun E42 still there but only for reference. Light timers and circulation fans still on E42 (for now), but everything else is custom designed electronics and or esphome for HAOS.
2- Auto self-refilling humidifier with its own ionic filter system
3- Auto ph and refill of water supply tank for plant watering EC/T/ph tracking
4- modified Self-refilling, AC Infinity watering bases with over flow sensors
5-soil moisture, temp, pH and EC of each plants soil
6- Tent T/H/CO2/light level/VPD, including separate leaf temp sensors and associated VPD calcs
7- Grow Room dehumidifier and AC electronics gutted and replaced with esp32 based logic for HAOS control.
8- Tent heater control self designed temp controller with room/tent/heated air path temp tracking
barely 6 days old in soil (well 12 days from seed) … 1” of small pea gravel = zero Knats and massive reduction in evaporative losses from top of soil
(re-useable grow to grow)
I have grown since the 70’s …. Mom taught me in the garden on a plant that sprung from a seed that I pitched.. Of all I have learned I designed my own aeroponics system.. Most important thing I learned is PH balance !!!
Absolutely no problem at all, I’ve really enjoyed reading everyones introductions today. Oh, and basically drooling whilst looking at all the amazing photos.
Some of the colours you guys are getting are wild!
Im just a guy that was in a couple bad accidents, and Cannabis helped me recover mentally and physically. I dove right into growing, started small and ended with a 12 site RDWC in a 14x16 room. So im Just a decent home grower for medical use… now im a big connoisseur and help all my friends that a learning to grow. Always looking to learn and “grow" and meet new enthusiasts and meet a few Growmies
Currently growing in coco/perlite and coco/soil, its been a while since ive grow in soil, i have been doing RDWC and DWC, so should be fun
I love the cannabis community, everyone is just awesome thank you for allowing me to be apart of this wonderful group.
High5 here, checking out this new thread. I’ve been growing about 5, 6 years now, as I have gotten older I look for the therapeutic parts of the plant. Seedsman has some of the best CBD/THC ive grown.
I grow organic, nature’s living soil with coco and perlite of course. Ima jump on the next thread as I got some blood moon going. Ive been experimenting with mainline but LST I think is better (time wise). Stay high 305
