Okay…
Top right corner, hit your avatar, select the icon at the bottom that looks like a person
Then select Preferences. On the screen that follows, there is an email tab, select that.
For email, select Never for all choices and uncheck the boxes. You can always go back and make changes when you need to.
All the annoying email should stop after that.
