I use a mixture of miracle gro pot soil, pro mix and pearlite as well as worm castings when i can afford it lol. Where i use a hps i have to have more airflow to manage temps i think that makes em dry out faster. Ive used a hps for so long and grown such good bud with it i feel guilty if abandon it completely for LEDs

Ohh i do. Im ddoing my first run with a mars tsl2000 now. Its doing really nicely. I just got it a few weeks ago, before that all i had was a 300w viparspectre. It would gro bud but nOothing like a hps.
Yeah, my husband used to grow with them and there is a different between HPS and LEDs. If you’re wanting solid nugs you have to have good lights.
Although it is usually less expensive, regular Miracle Gro potting soil is not recommended for cannabis cultivation. They have a specialty soil that they make now for cannabis.

What you guys are talking about using miracle grow!!! Go get you some sunshine mix from Lowe’s or home depot.
Better yet go to Amazon buy a brick of coco coir and mix yourself for 20$ you get 24 quarts add perlite and you got around 4 cubic feet.
You guys stop with the miracle grow! This isn’t 1998. Lol. There’s way better stuff out there.
I’m a big fan of fox farm but only thing I’ve ever grown in. I use half ocean forest and half happy frog…I have to admit though its quite expensive

Come on guys ive grown some gorgeous bud with MG. Now i get really pissed at it when something goes wrong with a plant and i need to flush it or adjust ph or something. But i used it for years until recently. Ive been shopping around lately tho. Ive got pro mix too but this is my first time using it
