Yeah,Apricot turned out lovely..I got 2 pack n ran a cpl this winter..quite lovely if ya let em get about 20% or so amber..
Dog, thats the S4!t right there. My friend, ya did a great job at explaining g to me like im 5!!! Now I wanna get a fat pk of autos and these chems to make my own autos!!! Im so pumped atm to try this. Now this is can get behind and fail multiple times because I expect failure in a process like this vs just growing. Plus I like the 8-10 weeks of autos. Thanks so much for a wonderful, break down of reverse whatever its called… btw wth is this process called.
Why can’t I follow the simplistic of guidance on things boggles my mind. Great advice here smo,e.

Yeah maybe I’ll hold off on that one then lol I like the high thc but I love that flavor as well. Flavor is important to me. That old school dank smell with pine and skunk is my favorite
If you like those flavors, try going to Katsu Bluebird. Most strains are from the 90s.
Okay, so here it is…I can’t seem to grow autos to save my life.
They always grow tiny little plants with giant buds, but I’ve never got one to grow over a foot tall.
I start the seeds in the final container, run coco so it is always wet with nutrients, and for those I use Cronk’s Bonnie & Clyde, plus the standard CalMag/Silica base, keeping pH around 5.8 in and out.
I’ve seen people like Heaven & Neil (Highigan) grow 4-5’ autos on a consistent basis, yet I get stuck with these 1’ plants.
WTH?
“Helpful answer”.
Start out slow on nutes. I have done this before in live soil .I think autos grow better with salt base fertilizer. If you stunt them they flower.
thats what happened to her. Wedding Cake Auto from Seedsman.
These were in auto pots with air domes.
Bonnie and Clyde are great for Autos. I use it on my seedlings if the need a pick up also on clones. It’s very gentle, compared to others. Live soil for autos is kind of a waste, in my opinion. By the time the plants go into flower you may not have used up all the nitrogen up.
Do use perlite in ur coco? Is ur coco pre bufferd? Proper drainage is crucial! And go light on the nutrients at first week maybe two. Sounds like they are getting stunted
Yes, 40% perlite.
No, I buffer it myself; 2 hour soak with around 60ml CalMag to 1 gal water, then use extra CalMag throughout the grow.
No deficiencies seen, just tiny plants.
Just harvested an RQS Apple Fritter auto, biggest auto for me yet, 20" tall.
Ran a Sour Diesel auto in rockwool 2 years ago…1’ tall.
Ran a Zkittles auto in soil 5 years ago, 14" tall.
I kinda think they just don’t like me, lol.
Hey everyone! Continuing troubleshooting my grow issues
Any advice is welcome!

Steady EC last few days of 1.6, PH maintained at 5.8-6.1. VPD 1.0/1 for about a week.
Week 6.
Since my last post I think I found the culprit. I neglected to monitor the PPFD for a few days in late veg and the PPFD spiked from 500 to about 750 and the nutrients couldn’t keep up with the light. I’ve since adjusted the light and res so the plant has been getting 1.5-1.6 EC and about 550-600 ppfd for the majority of the tops.
Another problem I noticed is that I am using a small wavemaker in order to keep everything mixed and homogenous, but since adding it my PH will spike from 5.7-6.0 within like 2 hours, then sit for a few hours before spiking up again to 6.4-6.7. I think the PH isn’t staying in the ranges long enough to really help the plant absorb the nutes? I’m not sure.
The lightness of the plant has still stayed and is basically neon green at the point. I’m considering maybe draining the res and mixing fresh? Any advice is welcomed and appreciated!!! ![]()
Hmm sounds like u did everything right…I’ve noticed though that some like smaller feeding/watering more frequently and some like bigger less frequently! Maybe play around with that and see ?
With auto pots it’s okay for ph to fluctuate some. That’s the plant up taking nutes. Swinging up that high though indicates your resivour. What’s your water source? Are you adding nutes to it?
@SweetsensiWA I use tap water, let sit for 24 hours before using to dechlorinate. Tap water sits at about 220ppm. I added full nutrients + the canna additives when I first turned the system on and I’ve just been adjusting with CalMag and Canna A+ B since. If I need to top off or bump EC I’ll mix between .5-2 gallons
Anyone got any killer good autos to recommend from seedman or other thinking of putting a order in in a minute or two
wanted some ethos but out of 3packs so no go i guess
I haven’t tried these yet but FastBuds has 10 Gelato Autos + 1 FrostBanger Auto Freebie for $24.
