I have often wanted to cross Durban Poison with God’s Gift to make God’s Durban.

All the traits listed would be in play…(except you spelled a couple wrong :slightly_smiling_face: )…flavor, aroma, effects, colors, potency, yield, resilience, terpene profile, etc.

I think growers would want to grow it because the Durban traits would be enhanced by the God’s Gift addition.

I would like to Thank all Community members for voting.

Ye olde Queen's English is doing you no favours?

Oh wow :exploding_head:, I had to re-read it 4 or 5 times before I figured it out :joy: I didn't even notice :face_with_monocle:

That sounds like God's Gift to me. Bring it on Mr Slayer!

I’ve done many crosses in my 48 years, and I’m currently creating something that should blow the minds of old-school funk lovers. My goal is to bring back the funk in a very big way.

There’s something that bothers me about the cake/cookie strains that I would love to purge, so I would go with the following “two strains”…

Northern Lights 99 x Donny Burger

Working with only two strains that are “clone or fem only”, the Donny would be reversed to provide genetics to the NL99. Being an R1, it would be a couple years of work to do the hunting, crossing, and BX-ing, but the result of this would be a creation named…

Haze Burger 99

A high-yielding, high-potency strain providing soaring energy, psychoactive punch, and the unmistakable terpene depth that made Haze legendary, combined with Donny’s pungent aroma with gassy, diesel, garlic, cheesy, and savory spicy notes, countering the candy sweet traits of NL99.

Why Growers would want it-

Based on the huge resurgence of Skunk and other super dank/funky strains, plus the statistics showing lower “sweet” purchases from dispensaries across the USA, I truly believe that many consumers are tiring of candy/cake/sweet strains.

This is not the 1980’s. Today growers largely produce what consumers want. By working to remove those traits from this cross, it would be a welcome entry into the consumer marketplace. The removal of the candy flavors based on consumer demand, potency in the 35%+ bracket, yields at 650g/sq M+, and award winning parent genetics, would make this a fabulous addition to any growers collection.

:peace_symbol: :green_heart: :dashing_away:

I am definitely a fan of the skunk! I do like sweet too. I would love to drive some Hazeburgers into my lungs one day.

Wow. I think we're having burgers tonight. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Dang, you make me want this strain girl! Hey, you need to call me, I'm back in LA in 3 weeks.

I've never had any of the burger stuff but his seems interesting I like garlic and skunk

Party time at Jayme's place! Y'all were warned!

My Dream Strain: :thinking::thinking:

The Parental Cross::cross_mark: :crossed_fingers: Grimm Glue (Brothers Grimm Seeds) x Black Sugar (Seedsman)

The Name: :test_tube: “Sugar Slumber”

:dna: Aimed Traits & Characteristics

Growth Structure & Canopy: :herb: A perfectly balanced, medium-sized plant. It tames the wild vertical stretch of Grimm Glue by introducing Black Sugar’s short, dense, high-yielding bush structure. Expect rock-hard, heavy indica buds on a highly manageable frame.

My Dream Strain is Massive! It inherits the long, heavy colas from Grimm Glue and the incredible 600g/m² density of Black Sugar, backed by the resilient “Baby Gluey” genetics.

Aroma & Flavor Profile: :tangerine: :evergreen_tree: An intense, complex bouquet of sour citrus, skunk, and sweet fruity orange, rounded out by deep, sharp notes of cedarwood.

Potency & Terpenes: :snowflake: Off-the-charts trichome density. This is a “sticky monster” packed with myrcene, pinene, and caryophyllene, boasting very high THC— an absolute dream for hash and concentrate makers.

The Effects:  The Ultimate Master Sedative. This cross forcefully wipes out the energetic, giggly C99 sativa headspace of Grimm Glue. It steers the “high” purely into nighttime territory, delivering a deeply narcotic, heavy couch-lock body melt designed to eliminate insomnia and wipe out pain, or thoughts of recently deceased fathers.:joy::scream:

:rocket: Why Growers Everywhere Would Want To Grow It

The Ultimate Commercial Bag Appeal: :gem_stone: Buds that look like they have been heavily rolled in confectioner’s sugar, glittering with a ridiculous blanket of crystals.

The Perfect Tamed Beast: :triangular_ruler: It solves the grower’s headache of having to heavily trellis long, floppy branches by packing that massive Grimm Glue bud weight onto a sturdier, compact Black Sugar frame.

Unrivaled Concentrate Returns: :honey_pot: Because both parents are legendary resin producers, extraction artists will flock to this strain for its insane wash and press yields.

A True Knockout Stone:  In a market crowded with balanced hybrids, a true, uncompromising, heavy-hitting “conk out of reality” sedative is always in high demand for medical patients and recreational users alike. (Image created by Steven.)

:dna: Strain Profile: Grimm’s Ghost Candy :ghost::candy:

The Ultimate Connoisseur-Yield Hybrid :grapes::snowflake:

1. The Genetic Cross :handshake:

A legendary collaboration: Cinderella Purple (Brothers Grimm) × Purple Ghost Candy (Seedsman).

This fusion merges the stability and refined grape-berry elegance of Grimm’s Purple Urkle influence with the aggressive resin production, structure, and potency of Seedsman’s Ghost OG × Candyland heavyweight.

2. The Target Traits: A Visual & Sensory Masterpiece :artist_palette::nose:

This strain is engineered to dominate the senses and the scales.

Aroma & Flavor :grapes::shortcake::fuel_pump:: A complex assault of heavy, warm grape soda :cup_with_straw: and sweet berry pastry :cupcake:, finished with a sharp, electric lemon-diesel fuel :lemon::fire: exhale.

Terpene Profile :microscope:: Heavily dominant in Myrcene (the deep fruit base) and Limonene (the sharp, uplifting citrus-fuel accent), smoothed out by comforting Linalool for a smooth, floral relaxation.

Visual Appeal :purple_heart::snowflake:: Dense, chunky flowers maturing into stunning royal purple and magenta :fireworks: hues, completely encased in a thick, glass-like sheet of glistening trichomes (a literal “snowstorm”). (Created image what it might look like.)

Effects :sparkles::person_getting_massage:: “Mental Lift, Physical Drift.” Starts with an immediate, clear, euphoric bliss :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: that melts away stress, transitioning into a soothing, warming body relaxation for pain and muscle tension :bed:.

Potency & Yield :flexed_biceps::balance_scale:: Testing at a formidable 24% - 26% THC hopefully.:collision: with a rich minor cannabinoid presence (including CBG). Generates exceptionally heavy, commercial yields of massive, forearm-length colas :gorilla:.

Resilience :shield:: Bulletproof environmental defense featuring a thick, sturdy stalk system that easily supports the heavy bud weight, alongside aggressive resistance to PM, mold, and humidity swings.

3. Why Growers Everywhere Will Need It :trophy::woman_farmer:

Problem Solved: It eliminates the choice between exotic flavor and heavy yield.

Commercial Powerhouse + Elite Terps :grapes::money_bag:: The scale-crushing weight of Purple Ghost Candy meets the loud, prized flavor profile of Cinderella Purple.

Perfect Canopy Control :deciduous_tree::straight_ruler:: Highly predictable, sturdy structure that completely eliminates floppy, weak-stemmed phenotypes and loves optimization for massive top colas.

Hash Maker’s Dream :soap::snowflake:: The trichomes feature exceptionally large heads on brittle stalks—snapping off effortlessly for massive extraction returns in dry sift or live rosin.

Explosive Veg Vigor :person_running::dashing_away:: Rapid cloning and fast vegetative growth shorten the cycle, cutting down the time spent in veg for faster room flips :hourglass_not_done:.

Strain Name: Silent Monastery

Genetic Cross: Afghani Landrace #1 X Elite Northern Lights #5

Description: Silent Monastery is envisioned as a deeply introspective, indica-dominant hybrid (approximately 90–100% indica expression), bred to deliver profound physical stillness paired with a calm, meditative mental state. This is not a strain for activity, it’s a strain for surrender, reflection, and complete inner peace.

Desired Traits: A heavy, full-body couch-lock that gently anchors you in place, melting away physical tension and stress. The high begins with a slow wave of warmth through the body, followed by a tranquil, “soul-searching” cerebral effect, quiet, introspective, and deeply calming. Ideal for meditation, evening unwinding, or moments of intentional stillness.

Aroma & Flavour Profile: Classic, “old school” cannabis character, earthy, herbal, slightly woody with subtle notes of hash and pine. Smooth and natural on the inhale, with a clean, grounding exhale that evokes nostalgia and familiarity. Nothing flashy just timeless authenticity.

Appearance: Dense, compact buds with a heavy indica structure. Thick layers of frosty trichomes give a sticky, resin-rich texture. Deep forest greens with occasional dark hues, reminiscent of traditional landrace heritage. Visually comforting and unmistakably classic.

Resin & Potency: Exceptionally resinous, ideal for those who appreciate traditional hash-making qualities. Potency leans toward high THC with a terpene profile dominated by myrcene, caryophyllene, and humulene to reinforce its sedative, grounding nature.

Growth Characteristics: Short, sturdy plants with strong lateral branching and good resilience. Moderate to high yields with dense colas. Suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation, with a preference for stable, controlled environments to maximize resin production.

Why Growers Will Love It: Silent Monastery brings back the essence of what many growers and consumers miss, authentic, no-frills indica power. In a market often dominated by flashy flavours and high-energy hybrids, this strain stands out by offering true relaxation, mental clarity, a return to classic cannabis roots.

It’s a cultivar for those seeking comfort, nostalgia, and a meaningful connection to the plant, a strain that encourages you to slow down, breathe, and simply be.

Simply be.. I like it. I'm not huge on the pine but I can still dig it.

I was going with the woody, forestyness to compliment the grounding vibe. I get you though, it's not to everyone's taste. Especially given the amazing sweetness you can get out of good flower nowadays.

Sounds good :100:, love me a good indica!

This is how i like my indica

Yeah this sounds good please send seeds DM for address lol

A dream strain for me would be the Grimm Glue crossed with Doctor Seedsman 30:1 CBD. The powerful relaxing effects and great flavor profile of the glue parent combined with the CBD strain in a 1 : 1 THC : CBD ratio would create the perfect mix to free both body and mind of pain and anxiety.

It would be named Doc Grimmy’s Cure-All.

Doc Grimmy's cure all sounds like something I need for sure.

I like it :blush::+1:

This sounds wonderful. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Glue is good this sounds great send seeds DM for address lol :+1:

What...no candy :lollipop:, no cake :shortcake:, no cookie :cookie:, no ice cream :soft_ice_cream:? :eyes: This could be good! I would do this! :pink_heart:

I’m wanting to make my own strain and call it (Rick and Morty Auto) inspired by my favorite cartoon “Rick and Morty”

*The “Rick” parent (male) or (Reversed Female): which would be a sativa strain with an aggressive, cerebral sativa punch and a chemical, gassy, or sour aroma (To mimic portal fluid or Rick’s chaotic energy)

*So eigther I would use (Chemdawg Auto), (Sour Diesel Auto), or (Green Crack Auto).

*The “Morty” parent (Female): which would be a indica strain of something sweet, a little nervous/mellow, and completely opposite to Rick. Like a berry or citrus profile which I believe would be perfect.

*So eigther I would use (Banana Blaze Auto), (Blueberry Auto), (Strawberry Banana Auto), or (Mazar Auto).

And I believe it would be a great strain mixture of indica/sativa for growers to grow because of the awesome experience and if you are a Rick and Morty fan like me you would love the chaos of growing it and the affects would be wild just like the adventures they have and experience I believe it would be just awesome.

I'll try it! :winking_face_with_tongue: Sounds like a hopped up version of Jack Herrer :+1:

I love Rick and Morty! Chem is loud and obnoxious like Rick. You need someting sweet and innocent for Morty. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yeah I did put something for the Morty it's the banana blaze auto, blueberry Auto, strawberry banana Auto, or mezar auto

I'm obsessed with Rick and and this sounds like a dream to be able to have an experience it

Omg hands down that would be so awesome :ok_hand:

Which two strains you would cross?

I started smoking in the late 90s near Woodstock, NY. This is easy. I would cross Original Glue x Purest Indica.

What you would name your creation?

Pure Glue

What traits you would be aiming for?

Ngl, we’re looking to keep this an earthy fuel-forward cross, just knocking Glue down to a managable size, strengthening branches, and increasing resin production.

Aroma/Flavors: Heavily sweet/spicy/earthy pine and diesel fuel, with chocolate, coffee, and sour citrus lingering on the tongue.

Effects: Deep relaxation and euphoria, along with a calming body high. Enhancing the sedative properties of Northern Lights while incorporating GG4’s heavy physical effects and euphoric sensations.

Colors: Deep greens, purples, and possibly some hints of orange.

Potency: 25% avg

Yield: 550g/m² average indoor, 500g/1000g per plant outdoors.

Terpines: Myrcene, Pinene, Caryopyllene, Limonene

Why you think growers everywhere would want to grow it?

Growers would want to grow Pure Glue mainly because it tends to combine traits that are highly valuable in both commercial and home grows:

  • High yield potential: Both parents are commonly sought for producing a lot of flower under variable conditions.
  • Strong, “sticky” bud quality: Glue lines are often associated with very resinous flowers (a big selling point for bag appeal and for concentrate production).
  • Flavor/aroma density: This kind of hybrid is typically pursued for richer, sweeter, heavier terpene profiles rather than plain “straight” strains.
  • Potency/knockdown effects: GG4 is often chosen for strong effects; Northern Lights contributes a smoother, heavier relaxation character.
  • Marketability: The visual look (dense buds, strong frost/resin, sometimes darker/purple tones) and the expected effect profile make it easier to position for customers.

I would buy and grow this strain. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Cinderalla D.OG
Im so stoked about growing cindy 99 cant wait. And im loving the way fuel dog is performing so i figure why not cross em!
I think the growth would be explosive and the gassy fuel mixed with tbose floral cindy notes…mmmm…mmm.
Anyone who enjoys growing thriving plants would love a ctoss like this not to mention connoisseurs who love a flavor bomb!!
Just so many reasons to buy this. I definitely would!!

That's a big sativa fan right there :+1::smiling_face_with_sunglasses: Have to grow it in a steel pot so it doesn't melt down :joy:

Lol I love it I would call it Cinderella doggy style though

A girl and her D.OG. I think I can pull it off. Killing the candy for sure. I knew I liked you! :pink_heart:

Man I love the Cinderella 99 them good Ole days right

Chocolate Donkey Mint Donuts

Seedsman (super skunk #1/F1) x Brothers Grimm (Grimm mints).

I was dreaming of this Super chunky skunky, chocolatey and minty highly… HIGHLY resinous plant.

It would be a vigorous and forgiving grow, outdoors could be pretty huge but nothing pushing the limits.

Highly resistant to pests and mold and cooler temps.

This thing would be a hash monster, perfect for making a dream hash without all the fruity loudness.. (there may be some fruity phenos ofc) but if you get it just right… You can totally dial in the super skunky mint chocolate.

This right here.. this would be some magic.

Chocolate skunk mints , I'll smoke dat :+1:

Doobie bird daydream /super skunk

Great taste my friend definitely got my vote

NYCindy :fire::high_heeled_shoe:

Two certified legends, one from each side of this collab — no gimmicks, just real old-school pedigree.

The Cross: Sour Diesel (Seedsman) x Cinderella 99 (Brothers Grimm)

Sour Diesel is the strain that put NYC and East Coast fuel genetics on the map. Cinderella 99 is Brothers Grimm’s own flagship creation — one of the most decorated sativas ever bred. Putting these two together isn’t a new-school flavor mashup, it’s combining each breeder’s actual signature classic.

Target Traits:

:fire: Aroma/Flavor — Diesel fuel and skunk up front, citrus-tropical sweetness on the exhale. Funk first, fruit after.

:high_voltage: Effects — Clear-headed and energetic. A real sativa daytime high, not a couch-lock strain.

:herb: Colors — Deep green, orange pistils. Old-school gas-plant look, not candy colors.

:flexed_biceps: Potency — High-THC, cerebral, alert.

:seedling: Resilience/Yield — Cindy 99 brings faster finish times and sturdier structure, fixing Sour D’s usual finicky, slow-flowering reputation, while Sour D brings the pungency and potency it’s legendary for.

Why growers everywhere would want it:
Everyone chasing “old school” is dressing up modern hybrids with a fairytale name. NYCindy is the real thing — two verified legendary cultivars, one from each breeder, crossed the way old-school NYC growers actually think about genetics: pedigree first, hype second.

I would get these and grow them right away:green_heart:

Me too bro to be honest im in the works of creating the ny banger with 4 old school classics combined

I know some people that would love this one!

Yes, I would love this one! Axe the candy! Bring back the gas!

Yeah this would work please send seeds DM for address lol

Hmmm, If I had a choice to cross any genetics from BOTH great breeders, I would cross the KILLER QUEEN (Brothers Grimm) to the PURPLE GHOST CANDY (Seedsman).

I would name it, QUEENS CANDY. I’d hunt for the most insane frost monsters the 2 would create. Keeping the killer queens dominant side of making it more squat of a plant (for indoor growers) having the sturdy, heavy side branching scrogging or training would induce to hold up the PHat nugs it would produce. While also looking for the sweet, fruit flavors. Hence, Queens CANDY. I think that’d be a hit ladies and gents:wink::fire::fire::call_me_hand:t2:

Agree :+1::100:, very good choices. Sounds like it would be right up my alley :fight_cloud::exploding_head:

hmm this is an interesting question. i have played around with my own genetic creations recently and plan to do it some more. just recently i crossed my acai gelato cut and pollinated it with a platinum lemon cherry gelato male. i originally was going to name it platinum gelato but i eventually decided on Aesthetics Gelato.

but right now i would like to cross something with the ego checker i have growing. im going to be doing alot of s1 crosses with the elite clones ive been running to keep them around in seed form

ps @seedsman team you guys should host some competitons that arent based on popularity votes. i tend to not want to enter for that reason and im sure others feel the same but maybe not.

Interesting , I understand what you mean :vulcan_salute: . Back to your cross :cross_mark:, I would recommend you cross it with Seedsman Banana Jealousy. This should add lateral branching and increase yields, would taste like a skunky banana bread :bread:

That sounds yummy lol I'd buy it. :face_savoring_food:

I like the idea of a random drawing, put up a 50/50, a heavy indica and a heavy sativa, sign up for the one you want, ping pong balls in a cage with your name, but if tons of people sign up, it could be a problem, don't know if Seedsman has the balls to do it

Strain Name: Cheese Bread 2.0

Cross: Brothers Grimm Durban Thai x Cinderella 99 × Seedsman UK Cheese

My dream strain would be Cheese Bread 2.0, a cross designed to combine the uplifting, creative energy of classic sativa genetics with the unforgettable character of old-school Cheese.

The Brothers Grimm Durban Thai x Cinderella 99 side would bring the bright, clear-headed, euphoric experience I am looking for — a strain that enhances music, creativity, conversation, and appreciation of the moment. The Seedsman UK Cheese side would provide the foundation of classic cannabis funk: aged cheese, basement funk, skunk, and deep terpene complexity.

The traits I would be aiming for are a fast-onset, happy, mentally uplifting effect with a comfortable relaxing body sensation. The ideal expression would be the type of strain that fits a great concert, creative session, or relaxing evening with friends — inspiring and positive without becoming heavy or sedating.

For aroma and flavor, my goal would be a unique combination of old-world cheese funk with layers of incense, spice, and herbal complexity. I would love to see a plant that opens with a strong cheese cellar aroma, followed by deeper notes that make you keep coming back to the jar.

For the plant itself, I would look for a vigorous, medium-sized plant that is easy to train and work with. My ideal flowers would not necessarily be the hardest or biggest buds, but rather greasy, resinous, slightly spongy flowers with excellent terpene retention and a premium smoking experience. Structure, flavor, and effect would be more important than simply chasing maximum yield.

I think growers would want to grow Cheese Bread 2.0 because it would bring together two different eras of cannabis: the uplifting, exotic, cerebral qualities of classic sativa genetics and the unmistakable personality of old-school Cheese. The goal would be a strain with character — one that is remembered for how it smells, how it smokes, and most importantly, how it makes people feel.

Grand idea :light_bulb:, I miss that old sweat socks smell, all the new stuff smells like fruit loops

I love that as we go along, more and more people want to axe the candy from their strains! Next is ice cream and cake.

Yeah this would work too please get me on the list for this one DM for address lol

Hello growers from around the world. My name is Ay and I grew up in Seattle, WA USA most of my life and now live in Bangkok, Thailand. Having grown cannabis since I was young I would pick these two genetics> Strain Name: Emerald Smile    :call_me_hand:  :dango:

The Cross: Ocifer (Brothers Grimm) & Banana Jealousy (Seedsman)

The Concept:

Inspired by a journey from the rainy streets of Seattle to the sun-drenched canopy of Thailand, Emerald Smile is a true collaboration of modern giants. By combining the resin-drenched, high-THC fuel of Brothers Grimm’s Ocifer with the massive yield, lateral vigor, and creamy-skunk profile of Seedsman’s Banana Jealousy, this strain is bred for the true connoisseur.

Target Traits:

We are aiming for a massive, greasy resin load with exceptional bag appeal—frosty green and purple flowers with thick, oily trichomes. The terpene profile completely avoids the basic candy trend, delivering a heavy “Skunky Banana Bread” aroma that hits with deep fuel up front and finishes with rich, sweet, doughy fruit. Expect a highly potent, clear-headed, and deeply creative effect that honors the uplifting spirit of old-school Thai heritage.

It's working :+1: I'm smiling just reading about it , well done :+1:

Nom nom nom  banana  bread :bread:

You had me salivating right until "sweet, doughy fruit". I'll upvote you anyway! Go down to Kanchanaburi, hang out until you smell weed burning then follow the smell. I did that in 1989 and it changed my life. Sawadee ka :folded_hands:

My dream cultivar would be a cross of a couple of old stinkers.
Cookie Dawg (GSC x Manny Stardawg) some of the stinkiest flower I ever got and cripplingly potent. Like rotten meat, fuel and a menthol creaminess. Small rock hard mint green and purple nugs. Don’t think this was commercially bred but I found 5 or 6 viable looking seeds in 2oz that I would like to try and pop when I have the space to breed. Very narcotic, couch lock sedating, was too much for most people.

The other would be something to give it some flower size. Probably Karma’s Biker Kush (Hells Angel OG x Lucifer OG). Known great breeder used by lots of people to add size and weight with classic OG stretch. The potency is there in both parents, I would want to find one with the pungent Cookie Dawg terps and Biker growth structure.

I think anyone looking for a “Roadkill Skunk” type profile would want to grow this, or something with the Manny Stardawg in. While it is different it has similar funky rotten VSC’s and unlike anything I have grown. I have a pack of Biker Kush v2 so may do this cross at some point if the CD seeds germinate, they are about 10 years old now..

Edit to add: I’d call it Cerberus, as a play on Hell x Lucifer and Stardawg parent names, and I like Greek myths.

Excellent :ok_hand::+1: thank you sir for your input, hey old man, how much for that CD?

This would be very cool! HA is the same cut as Larry; like Larry was cut from HA OG and taken directly to a dispensary in Costa Mesa where it was rooted and grown out. Let me know when you embark on that journey. I'm wildly curious on the plant structure and pheno spread.

Oh my gosh Steve would be all over that strain :joy::joy:

I would cross grandad kush with Gelato hoping for a sweet taste along with a good aroma. With a higher thc and a higher yield along with a deep relaxing feeling would call it a grandgelato
