Dehumidifier options small and mid-sized

Im on the lookout for a good dehumidifier as summer is around the corner and probably gonna need it.

Forgot to add it’ll more n likely sit in lung room when needed.

Here is one:

AeroDrain D12 Intelligent Environmental Dehumidifier, up to 12L/day, 2L Water Tank, with Temperature & Humidity Sensor Probe

Or a less expensive option:

Amazon.com - NineSky Dehumidifier, 1000 sq.ft Dehumidifiers for Home with 95oz Large Water Tank,Quiet Dehumidifier with 7-Color Ambient Light & Auto Shut Off, Dehumidifier for Basement, Bedroom, Bathroom (Grey)

Thanks ill peep this out

Amazon or Home Depot or offer up

Oh I never thought of offer up…ill peep that for sure

I’m new, you know that. Just built my Vivosun 5X10 (no carbon filter) and my plants and I are happy except for humidity which is at 80% (dry soil and plants & after watering) according to cheap hydrometer. Internal temp 72.4 deg. Opened vents to room and house which is at 59% (lots of openings), no change. Vivosun sells unit for outside of tent. Makes sense. Any other suggestions. Please, anyone!
Asking about dehumidifier for tent but learning they developed a lot of heat, pump units are not good. Terrible humidity for any stage but especially flower.
This is getting complicated!

Amazon 56 pint new best friend

No need for a filter, just get one of these:

Amazon.com: Spider Farmer 6 Inch Inline Duct Fan with RJ12 Speed Controller, 402 CFM Quiet EC Motor, Ventilation Exhaust Fan for Heating Cooling Booster, Grow Tents, Hydroponics, Indoor Gardening : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Need to vent the lung room…if you just worry about tent inside you’ll just keep battling…id suggest concentrating on lung room temps/humidity

Vent the tent out a window with a window vent kit:

Vent that closer on other side it’ll be more efficient…the more ducting/the longer u use the less efficient

I get it, but that puts it 3’ closer to my front door, lol!

Since it’s 6", I still get massive negative pressure in the tent with tons of flow through.

Gotcha! Just looking out :ok_hand:

Appreciate it! :pink_heart:

Just learning about lung rooms. Just bought 8” pro exhaust to vent into room tent is in. The room the tent is in is at least 6 X 12 larger than 5X10 tent, is heated in winter and cooled by HVAC & vented into room. With the door to room open there’s good air flow. The exhaust will be vented into room/house then, obviously back through HVAC filter. Cooled air in summer comes from vent in floor nicely situated near vent openings in tent. The obvious attitude is to use the 5X10 as a complete grow through the seasons. In spring/fall temps the window in room can bring in cool (65 - 75 deg) fresh air. The cool, dry basement is always averaging 55 deg., humidity avg. 40% and used for dark, cool, low humidity hanging/drying/trimming flower. Then dried bud in mason jars for burping in said basement. That’s way more info I intended sharing but need your insight if at all doable. I like using K.I.S.S. method.
Doable?

That sounds like thats all going to or should be ok :+1: if thats what your asking ? If anything maybe a humidifier in hang/dry room 60% but yeah your good :+1:

That was what I wanted to know as I’m treading water. My compost/soil mixture and many decades of vegetable, bush, bulb, tuber and tree growing, and you kind folk whom I’m ever in debt has been saving my new crop.
Thank you!
