Humidifier Shopping

Can we talk humidifiers? I need new. What kinds do we like? Do they have timers? Built in humidistats?

I just got the AC/I Cloudforge T3 and it’s ok so far. Not having it inside to save space and just feeding a hose through is nice. Cons are that water drips back down the hose into the base and also from the opening in the tent. I just put a towel under the opening in the tent for now.

What I have done was to use my kids humidifier for my grows. While they’re all moved out, it was “surplus” that I put to good use. So with that.. just look for in-room humidifiers in the baby section of Walmart or wherever you shop. I also attach it through this… Inkbird Humidity Controller IHC200 Humidistat …. that device will trigger any “normal” humidifier to go on and off per your humidity settings. That will keep it from running non-stop.

This may be a low-cost solution for you!

I love my Govee humidifier. It has bluetooth and an app so you can control it 24/7, even if the tent is closed up. It doesnt have the largest tank, but i like it because it doesnt take up a lot of space in the tent. Ive looked into getting one of those newfangled AC Infinity or Vivo ones, but so far this one works great and wasnt expensive.

I bought a small Vivosun, about as cheap as they come, but it works for drying in a closed up closet. My question is how do you manage RH in a tent with an inline vent fan and fresh air intakes in the tent? The one in my drying closet barely maintains 50% humidity. How on Earth do you do this with 200cfm passing through the tent lol.

I got the Spider Farmer Ultrasonic Humidifier. It is controlled through the Spider Farmer GGS controller, which is hooked into the AC10 power strip. It is adjustable for RH or time(s) to activate. I also have a small Vicodin in my seedling tent. Works great, the app is a game changer for me. Love the fact that I can calibrate it to my NSF certified temp/humidity gauge.

I’m not sure, I have trouble controlling humidity in general lmao, that’s why I figured I’d ask everyone about theirs. One person mentioned an ink bird humidity controller humidistat, controls the on/off based on a preset humidity level
