Yeah the NASC pheno is showing a darker shade than the SS pheno. The SS pheno is now taller than the NASC pheno, and I counted 7 bud sites alone on the SS pheno.
Update: 04/28/26
The girls are drinking fast, holy hell. They were damn near dried when I went to water today and to say I was shocked is an understatement. They’re really putting on a show for the last stretch of their run, no pun intended. Though I have encountered some odd discoloration on the leaves here and there on both plants. Only like one or two on each, but still something to look out for. What are y’all thoughts?
Slight nutrient toxicity, if you have dropped strength like I suggested it should hopefully not get worse. You should probably drop to 50% of what you were feeding until they lighten up a bit then go back up to 75%.
I had already fed em by the time your suggestion had come around, but no biggie, they’re not due for another feeding until next week anyhow, so it’s straight PHd water until then.
Remember you need to water also. The evaporation will lead to a salt buildup at the tops and if you top feed it may toxic the medium. Feed water feed water feed
Oh they’re fed when watered typically and I give a watering in between feeds. Ik backing off until the next feed, maybe even longer depending on the green.
I do not top feed right now, maybe in the future.
Yes nutrient overload!
The nutrient overload is wild to me. My most recent feeding was just my second one. I guess I built a good enough soil composition that they probably wouldn’t have needed nutes…well at all.
Update 4/30/26
Watering today! They’re drinking a bit over a half gallon every few days now as they’re progressing further into their flowering stage. Bud sites are looking good with some larf, but I’m not worried about it. I did some trimming, took away a couple of leaves that were no longer getting good light penetration. There’s very slight nute burn on the tips but it’s only one two leaves on each plant. No feeding today, just water PHd around 6. I’ll see how they’re doing in the morning and give y’all some pictures. For now, here they are before their watering.
Omg im like that now. Im on my 2nd week of flower and I keep thinking about what im going to do next. How i can improve the next grow. Lol. About to try my hand at cloning today. I have a beautiful plant that I want to keep, hope she makes it ![]()
.
This is awesome. This is also my first grow, im in week 2 of flower cant wait to see her all grown up. Here are my girls, pictures are 2 days old. Im also on a night grow my lights come on from 8-8.
Yeah man
looking good, love that “moonshine weed”
Are you watering till you get 20-30% runoff? Then check the PH of that runoff…they will tell you what’s going on at soil and root level…you could have a buildup of nutrients which will effectively lock them out. If you’re watering at 6.5 it should be 6.5 or close to it running out. Just trying to help I’ve been there
Looking great! My first grow definitely did not look that good lol
Thank you. Im going to post my grow until this point. My grow has not been 2 bad just one problem I couldn’t understand but the community helped out.
Oh nice! Yeah this community has helped me alot so far. All the info has already made a difference for me
I will my next watering.
That’s the one thing I don’t think I’ve done effectively yet. I’ll up what they’re in taking and get my run off readings.
Have to respectfully lean on you again. Sorry, another emergency. I’m new, you know that. Just built my Vivosun 5X10 (no carbon filter) and my plants and I are happy except for humidity which is at 80% (dry soil and plants & after watering) according to cheap hydrometer. Internal temp 72.4 deg. Opened vents to room and house which is at 59% (lots of openings), no change.
Asking about dehumidifier for tent but learning they developed a lot of heat, pump units are not good. Terrible humidity for any stage but especially flower. Vivosun sells one for out of tent. Ppl w/experience will find this simple. Trying my best!
