First outdoor grow!

First day in outdoor raised beds and in my “super soil” with tomato plants as cover (get 7’). Blue Dream, White Widow and Durban Poison. Autos ( Northern Lights) have pea climbers as cover I’ve waited since March for this day! Photos getting most sun.

Some nice looking ummm… zuccini ya got there!

Local horticulture has all my ____ vegetables.

Really nice looking :ok_hand:

Just conversed w/wife acknowledging we mustn’t count our chickens yet! Long road yet to nirvana.

Today 5/17/2026 watered all gardens, 1 gal light FF Bloom for 8 plants: Durban Poison, Blue Dream, White Widow & Northern Lights. Drooping yesterday eve. perked up overnight as heat stress. Terribly hot for these new plants. Be that way another three days. 70’s afterward a good spell.

5/17/2026 Also trimmed photos and topped one White Widow I missed days before.

Looking great, loving the sun

Those are going to grow way faster than the tomatoes. Just saying. We used to throw a few in the garden to see what would grow the fastest. Weed always wins! Looks amazing. Not a weed in site.

No weeds, but it’s early. Crazy but been spending days outside on covered deck checking on them every hour and in 90 deg days. Lots of iced tea and water. Children are going off to college!

90s we’re raining and cold 48 50 degrees here. Congratulations :tada:

Finally arrived. We were late this year. Covered veggies four times from frost. Might be a crazy Super El Niño year.

It’s spring time here

Yes, for sure. But stressing a bit and right back up in a.m.. Just today gained great info and took just a few old fan leaves from bottom of autos touching or close to ground. Thank you friends. Old Info scared me off from making obvious choice.

Oregon, rain from September to May!

Thanks. You can’t believe all they’ve been through. For example; In a hury (why?) planting put two White Widow together not paying attn, sprouting together. Darned if all those planted outside were all close or were rootbound. You guessed it, had to split WW then planting separate. They didn’t even flinch. Took right off I’m my soil. Soil saved me so many times. Why I call it “super soil.” But bud will tell the tale.

Which one is the Durban? Can you please post a photo of it again?

Durban Poison. Toughest plant I know and has that rep. Should have labeled. I’m pretty sure that’s it.

Awesome. Most Durban plants must have Indica style leaves initially, but thin Sativa leaves near the flowers.

Has record of good for temperate, tough with little worry of bud problems or insects (so they say). Anyway, the toughest so far of all I have!
