Justin's Growing Journey

Beginnings 2006-2007

I first started growing canabis as well as other plants from my home in southern Appalachia around 2006-2007 when I was around 16 years of age. I was going through a difficult time during my young life, family troubles, bad friends etc. My beloved mother done her very best raising me but I was a stubborn, strong willed teen who thought they knew everything. (In fact I knew nothing at this time of my life.) My father hated canabis and was the opposite of a what a parent should of been. Canabis entered my life around the time I got my drivers liscence, I immediately saw most of the horrible negative things I’d heard and been taught were totally false and untrue. Thankfully I met folks that promoted canabis in every way that became good friends. One of which was an old school grower from the 80s and 90s. I’d always enjoyed growing things. I believe I inherited my love of, and passion for gardening my grandmother and grandparents. ( We raised a garden bout all my life.Which I thoroughly enjoyed!) Canabis is a beautiful plant that’s not only gorgeous but has so many medical uses!!! I was immediately attracted to it in every way possible!!

What A Wonderful Experience
My plants are the first thing I think of and feeding or watering is the first thing i do every day! Its my morning ritual. I would spend all day with my plants if I could. Im a grower at heart. The time spent with my plants is so important for me to be happy and healthy. I dont know what I would do without them.

Canabis Has Given Me So Much

Being able to grow helps me keep a positive outlook on life. Which can be challenging for me. As ive grown older my view and opinion of canabis has changed somewhat. I fully support everything about canabis, recreational use, medical use, etc.Lately though, ive focused more on the medical side of things. I do enjoy partaking every so often of course but my biggest enjoyment of late is growing for family and friends and seeing the positive effects it has for them. Gardening is essential for my stress and anxiety relief. Not to mention the depression it helps stave off. It has tought me so much about myself. One thing being how much i need canabis in my life. It helps build my self esteem as well by reminding me that i do have at least one mediocre talent in life.

Seedsman
I have used Seedsman for at least 15 years. Ive never had any kind of trouble. The customer sevice is better each time i need them. At first i researched where to buy seeds. Seedsman was always highly recommended and had awesome reviews so they were my first choice. Being able to order single seeds and having a selection of cheaper seeds…(for poorer folks) was the main thing that drew me to them, as well as having a wide variety of reliable genetics from reliable breeders was also a plus. Having a trustworthy and reliable seedbank is so important. I am so very concerned with the upcoming changes to the laws regarding seeds. It can be so disheartening to spend months of your time, all your love and energy, (not to mention electricity costs for indoor growers) just to end up with alow growth, weak thc content or maybe even not being the strain you thought u had at harvest. Have good genetics just enhances the entire growing experience.

Great Memories

Canabis has brought me so much joy! I would recomend growing or gardening to everyone. There are so many positve aspects to growing your own. Not to mention the growing community is full of great people who love to help, share, and teach to help any newbies grt started. Just love your plants and they will love you!!!
