My Random Grows ✌️

Pea gravel is excellent for aesthetics, but it is the least effective for pest control.

The Issue: Because the stones are large and rounded, there are significant gaps between them. Gnats are tiny and will easily fly right through those gaps to reach the moist soil underneath.

Thought maybe. Especially since outdoor are open and will stay that way. Did nematodes thought.

Oh if you’re outside, There’s not much can be done about knats. Try to allow the soil to dry back on top layer.

Sand is key

Sand is okay. You need fine sand. Regular won’t allow for good drainage. The best way is to water with BTI mosquitoe dunks. All natural won’t hurt you.

Bought mosquito bites also. Video on woman making a tea with it for bottom tray feed. Interesting too!

Yes, they work great for knats. Takes time but naturally. Won’t harm you or animals

Sand is okay, but heavy. If you plan on reusing dirt you have sand mixed in now.

I’ve some skinny and tall like that. Mine may be Jack Herer, Strawberry Jack or Honey Haze. In a hurry when seedlings (don’t know why) so it’s a curious thing. Nothing else like those in my garden. Almost positive autos cause guy gifted to me is all he grows. But he was gifted too so who knows! They’re healthy just as yours. Turtles cute. Have some here endangered.
