Hello, I am new to cannabis growing and found this space. If I have to get supplies, what do I basically need?
A large bank account ![]()
Much more than I started with but hey, I haven’t broke the bank or used credit cards and am doing quite well. You can check my photos and communications to see but I’m welcoming you with arms wide open. You’ll find a deep well of knowledge here and great folks helping. I’ll leave it to others more experienced than I and they will be responding to you very soon indeed. Again, welcome my friend!
And that always helps with everything for sure. But you’ve just met @Steven one of my favorites who’s helped me on many occasions. But there’s truly so many more you’ll find here. I’m serious and true. You’re going to have fun @MBcanna007
What you basically need is a place to call your growing space.
You will then need enough light to brighten it up a little
And enough plants to reach your desired outcome.
Then decide which type of growing material you want to use. Dirt, auto pots, hydro
From there, the possibilities are endless.
Lol silly I think depends on indoor/outdoor grow, soil/hydro/aero/or rdwc system.
Exactly! And that’s a lot. Probably videos, books and just keep asking questions here. These days videos have a lot of info. Some great, others not so much. Gather info by the ton. The best growers here have either learned by the school of hard knocks and others by gaining tons of info before ever touching a seed. Your choice.
Hi welcome! You should probably but a tent kit that comes with everything but a humidifier.on Amazon you can even make payments.you will also need for the veg of the plant.ask specific details on how you want to grow and we have amazing grower in every field on here.i grow in roots organic living soil with 1/3 worm castings, wicking pots, and I top dress with guys green 444 every 30 days and recharge every two weeks.but some people grow in coco with bottle nutrients and some people grow in water.you till need to ph the water if you go those routes.you are in the right spot and we will help you through it
You see @MBcanna007 You haven’t been here long at all and look at this great advice! Thank you everyone!

Welcome to the group. Folks here are friendly and informative .. Come on sit awhile and join in the conversations. There are several very interesting threads , something for every new and experienced grower.
@MBcanna007 Now here’s a gentleman I would highly recommend you listen and pay attention to as assuredly as I am. Thank you @Mrgji7 for all your time and consideration!
Thank you, Im trying to be an active positive member of this community. As I find this place and people full of knowledge and willing to share in helping others achieve success rather it be thier first grow or someone like me that has grown it for years in an isolated bubble stumbling thru experiment after experiment to get it right . Like I stated befor if this community was in existence thirty five yrs. ago I believe many of the mistakes I made would have been avoided. I just hope new grower and old alike join in on the conversations and share thier knowledge as well as consume it and keep this community vibrant fresh and growing. It seems that every day I read something interesting or new to me and learn a lesson
