Tell me about it. Mine were doing good and flourishing until this last bout of rain. Nine straight days of rain killed one ahalf of another and all the others are showing signs of sever stress due to all the rain . But I guess the unexpected is what you have to prepair for when doing and out side grow. All my years planting where I do I’ve never experienced the amount of rain we recieved this year And nothing I could of done about it , After all cant controll mother nature.
Facts. I’m chancing it again. New sprout just showing it’s true leaves past two days but still tiny. Hoping just a little sun will bring it out more just a little then back in the house .lol. Lemoncello tap root came out today looked decent so it’s to the soil. ![]()

Lemoncello is fighting the good fight. It’s like the seed popped to early. If that’s a thing. But the shells off but I shifted the medium and noticed it’s in a full coil. Head touching tail. Tried moving the root to point down but don’t want to damage the pail leaves by covering them and spraying. I just put a cup over it. ![]()
Yeah man, it should right itself, may take a day or 2. ![]()
@BigCheese just move alil dirt pull it take finger
make hole deeper reset boom! Sounds like it didn’t latch on to any soil now moving to light…not good for roots.

I planted Lemonchello this year the aroma off of it is amazing cant wait to smoke it. The plant top out at 10 1/2 feet after two toppings .
Goodness. Indoor or outside. That’s a decent size. I’m gonna be a lil cramped if I’m lucky enough
I think he grows outdoors
Yes Im an outside grower of nearly 40 years. And though The Lemonchello was one of the plants that taken some damage from ten eleven days of heavy rain but I believe it’ll produce at least half of pound. Crossing my fingers Mother Nature doesnt throw any other surprises my way.
All my years have never had rain cause the damage it did this year to plants. Thats the downside to outdoors. But the upside they survived and are producing something, and as long as its over an oz. Of clean decent bud it paid for itself and I gained experience, learned a lesson got high quality smoke while trying a new strain all at the same time . So a win no matter how you look at it
ANOTHER day soaking
rain just what I needed.![]()

For the past ten years we’ve been suffering from slight to sever droughts conditions. And below normal ground water levels. So I wasnt prepared or prepared for this much water .But like every year lesson learned . And moving forward I’ll figure out a way to allow more faster drainage from the bed.Just never had need to think about it till now, the problem was getting enough water on the grow in the past.
Aw C’mon. You had just said that. I still think outdoor grow is cool. I be wondering what sun light compared so indoor does to the result.
Hopefuly this is just one of them off years .who realy knows anymore with global warming what weather will present itself and where.
But like every year I’ll put in a crop outdoogs the next year and year after that until Im unable to dig a hole and drop a seed. The pay off normaly I think are larger plants kissed by mother nature ,with outdoor grows.
