Hi! I got interested in cannabis ( again after 30 years) when it became legal in Illinois. I was shocked at the changes in potency, ways of enjoying and how much better it works for pain than my opiates ( which I quit shortly after).
This led to growing, something I tried in the 80’s and failed miserably at. I thought it might be interesting, but it was scary ( thinking of that 1980’s failure). I started researching, learned how it worked, and I’m starting to dry my first crop now! Turned out great for a first try, no regrets. Next grow will be better now that I have the materials in hand. I love the autoflower but I think I’ll try photo during the hot summer so I can plan on a cool fall harvest.
I look to the community for information about EVERYTHING in my newness, and hope someday to contribute something that helps someone else.
We’re nowhere near that progressive here. Im’a gonna hafta move!

I’m glad you were able to get off prescription meds for cannabis. There’s many good strains out there. One of my go to is Hindu Kush. Pure Indica! Thanks for sharing your story.
