Seedsman Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Seedsman Community!

The Seedsman Community brings together growers, cultivators and passionate people from all over the world to talk about everything cannabis. We’re a diverse group with different laws, cultures, opinions and experience levels shaping how we do things and we want to celebrate that.

These guidelines help us keep the conversation open, safe and respectful, so everyone can enjoy being part of our community built on curiosity, learning and mutual respect. Please take a look through them and feel free to contact our Community Manager with any questions, or if you think we should add anything else!

In short, what’s the community for?

● A safe, respectful space to connect, share experiences and learn from each other.

● Honest conversation about growing, using and understanding cannabis in a way that’s safe and legal where you live.

And what’s it not for?

● Posting illegal content, personal attacks or anything disrespectful towards others.

● Selling, trading or promoting your own products (there are better places for that)

Here’s the full list -

Be nice - Treat other members and Seedsman employees with respect at all times, free from all forms of harassment and discrimination.

Be curious - Everyone will have different perspectives, experiences and lifestyles; Ask each other lots of questions and learn from each other!

Be mindful and supportive of others - When you post in the Community, always think about how you can be helpful to others. Inappropriate, offensive, violent, explicit, or inflammatory content will be removed.

Be truthful - This is not a place for misleading content or spam.

Respect privacy - Be mindful of your own and others; avoid sharing sensitive information in the community as it will be public for everyone to see. We want to keep you safe!

Follow all applicable laws and regulations - Especially those relating to cannabis use and cultivation in your country or region. Please don’t post about or promote any activity that would be illegal where you live. This is an important one everyone!

This is not a place for you to sell or promote from - The Community isn’t a marketplace to sell or promote products (including your own grow, seeds or other materials), or to post links to potentially dangerous & unverified third-party sites including Discord servers.

● Comply with the Seedsman Terms and Conditions at all times.

Stay on topic and add value

We love having everyone here and encourage open discussion, but posts and replies should remain relevant to the original topic of the thread.

Posts that don’t add meaningful value, repeat what has already been said, or take the conversation away from its purpose can make it harder for members to get the help or information they need.

If a member is asking for advice, please take the time to read the original post and any previous replies before responding. This helps keep the conversation helpful, relevant, and easy to follow.

To help everyone get the most from the community:

-- Stick to the topic of the thread
– Start a new thread if you’d like to discuss something unrelated
– Make sure your replies are constructive and useful
– Avoid repeating advice that has already been given unless you’re adding something new

If a thread begins to go off-topic, a member of the Community Team may move posts, split replies into a new thread, or redirect the discussion where needed.

When you join and take part in the Seedsman Community, you agree to follow these guidelines. This is a space for open, honest and respectful conversations about all things cannabis. If something goes wrong, we’ll always try to talk it through first. But repeated or serious breaches may lead to content being removed or, in some cases, losing access to the community.

If you have any questions, you’re always welcome to reach out to our Community Manager by Direct Message. We’re all building this community together here and keeping it safe, friendly and enjoyable so if you notice anything that doesn’t fit with these guidelines, please let the community team know by using the content flagging option at the bottom of a post.

Thank you for taking the time to read our Community Guidelines!

If you’re new here and have just registered (awesome to have you!), also check out our guides on how to get started with the Community.
