Yes that’s natural, not sure what you mean by plate it?
It’s a Wy-Kiki by TH Seeds, not sure why it went so dark. This is the full plant but picture doesn’t do it justice as the light is bright, looked black in person.
Second pic was a Seedsman Banana Jealousy, also went almost black. ![]()
Sweet! Thank you. By plated, I mean covered with some kind of metal. Wasn’t sure if it was natural or made into an art piece
Thank you so much for joining our community - you’re just the kind of person we want helping teach others to grow.
Looks beautiful- I’d say you got the best froM This one.
You have an eye for detail!
I think this going to be an awesome community.
Definitely wanted to say thanks
Hello, I have been growing for several years. Started out like most with a couple of plants in soil and grew from there. Now I have a large Clone/Veg Room and a seperate 16 ft by 30 ft Bloom Room along with a 12 spot outdoor grow area. I use to play a lot in dirt, but found it is far cheaper and easier to do Hydro in Air Cubes using Hydroton. Note: If using throw away their junk resevoir and search Craig’s List and Facebook Market Place for a 75 Gallon Pill Barrel (They will hold 65 gallons fine). I utilize a 65 gallon Pill Barrel to feed my entire Veg room but for my large Bloom Room I installed a 250 gallon saddle tank with plumbing to my Air Cube Brain Bucket, and aerator, a water chiller with heater, a bottom drain for washout and cleaning and plumbed to my water filtration system for filling. I have had virtually every mishap possible……pests, fertilizer sensitive strains, flooding, electrical shorts, timer failures, etc. Most U.S. Facilities operate on a 200 Amp meter, mine requires a 360 Amp Meter due to all the lighting and automation. I do play with Octopots as well, this is only for Mother plants and for blooming out Mother plants that have past their useful cloning life. And yes, the Octopots are automatically filled via my resoviors. If anyone is curious how this is achieved, a simple 10 gallon tote elevated high on the wall, plumb a pump feeding from your res to the tote about an inch from the top of the tote with 1/2” line to a pump. On the tote plumb a 3/4” return line about 3 inches from the top running back to the res. Next install your 1/2” Octopot Lines to the gravity float box and from there to your Octopots, it will save you a lot of work. The only automation I haven’t figured out yet to how to auto trim my plants, auto clean my room and auto harvest, but the rest is so simplified from past trials and errors and inventions.
Certainly do can’t wait to pop a slurricane #44 from seedsman got so i wanna see what 44 is about this next run ![]()
Yes!!!
Ok I think I’ll make this quick. I’m Will, I grow, and I love life! So glad to be here.
What 3 questions? Just hit the 420. An avatar? Huh?
I noticed that you are growing in plastic air pots. Those are great little gems. I am currently placing the 7 gallon versions of these into Octopots for auto-watering. What I did was take the Octopot Wick and wrap the Air Pot around it as low as it would go between the bubbles, then I screwed the air pot together and then zip ties the Octopot Wick to the Air Pot. Filled as usual, planted and dropped it I to tge Octopot Water Tray. Been doing this for a couple months now with my Mother Plants and its working great! No more nasty mineral build up on bags!
Shantibaba?
That bad boy looks like it needs to be fed i to a Kief Tumbler…..I can only imaging how much Kief would come off of that.
No, MrNice has been a name I’ve used since before I grew and knew about Shanti. I’m assuming we both chose the name after the OG Howard Marks.
Been doing this for quite some time, by no means a pro, but i know enough. I grow in DWC, i love watching the plants grow. Ive helped a few people start their own journey. I look forward to all the great info and hopefullyi can spread some of my knowledge. Happy growing everyone
Wow!! I hope my babies look like this next week!!!
