The story of "2Tall"

Hello everyone!

So as of right now I have the story of Lefty going she’s doing pretty well as some of you may know..

But let me introduce you to the newest Star 2tall.. I planted this seed three days ago.. last night the two initial sucker leaves hadn’t even stood up… this morning this thing is fully opened and I believe gained a full inch or more of growth overnight…and yes I start them in my bedroom window LOL! because I like to watch them start growing.. plus it’s just easier for me.. for the others it was a good 10 days or more before they got moved into their permanent placement.. this one might catch up in 5..lol

I did add a thin layer of soil to support the stem because it was actually leaning over it was so tall.. I exposed some of the stem that’s why you see the dirt moved in the cup

What does your growing medium consist of?^

Generally, when a seedling “stretches”, it does so because the light source is weak, and it’s stretching to get the light it needs. When that happens, it’s a great indicator to adjust light intensity.

The good news is, and I’ve deal with this periodically, once your seedlings are ready to transplant into their next container or final grow container, I just bury those seedlings deeper during the transplant. This is a great way to also help keep your canopy the same height.

The great news is, once the stretched seedlings are buried deeper, all of that elongated stem will eventually sprout roots from it, and that will also help to stabilize your plant so it won’t need any assistance to stand up straight.

Absolutely right!!!

I didn’t consider the light stretch because it gets the sunrise up till 1030ish.. and litterly it just shed it’s shell yesterday. And shot up last night.. that’s why I decided to make it one to watch.. 6 others were started the same way.. and all grew slowly… it took some 3days to sprout and others 5-7… this thing jumped out and stretched in 3 days.. today is day 4..

Thanks

So I made a post that the topic is “What’s in your soil?” if you go check that out you will see but pretty much it is a mix of some compost potting soil mix coco coir earthworms, worm castings, gaia green additives, cedar charcoal

And then it’s all been saturated and activated I use fish tank water I make different herbal teas for nutrients and I also use the cronk trio..

Wish I could offer you something other than wait and see,
I’ve got the same thing going on now too, little girl up, but apparently just fine just sitting there, not doing anything, I have to assume that there’s stuff going on under the soil, but, got another that popped the seed open, but hasn’t started any leafs, two just broke the surface, and just laying there, been 3 days and nothing
