This is my Trident plant. She came from a bag seed that hermed halfway through flower. I think it was grower error and light leaks that caused the herm. She only produced a couple dozen seeds that was limited to the lower buds.
So good is a seed from that plant and it has a genetic mutation. That is a rare genetic mutation called Whorled Phyllotaxy. Instead of the usual two leaves/branches at every node, your plant is putting out three.
It’s basically a “bonus” mutation that happens in about 1 in every 250 plants.
I been training her to cover a 3x3 surface area. She has now been in flower for 2 weeks. During her grower spurt, the force of her growing up and the force of the scrog net pushing down caused her to break at her split node.
I have wrapped her in hemp twine and applied honey to try and save the branch. So far she is still growing fine and hairs are sprouting.

She has been making her flower stretch. I tied up all 3 main branches. Resilient. Hope for heavy buds.

Now the hard part, waiting for the finish!
Were new to scrogging after we get new room set up we’re going to try that. Steve wants our scrog screens to be adjustable in hopes I don’t have to bend much.
