As I lay here on the floor of my grow room (literally) I listen to the sounds of my fans and see the glow of my lights as I smell the sweet aroma of marijuana breezing past my nose…sounds like bliss right? I usually would think so too. Yet lately I feel a bit let down. What once was a blast for me is not so much anymore. Most of you aren’t even reading still to this point but I’ll explain anyways. I used to be pretty well known and big in the nicotine vape “community” as that is my area of expertise. However that community would occasionally turn dark and the bad apples would show through. I weathered the storm to the point where I was always trying to help but couldn’t take it anymore as the dark continued to show up. I tried and I tried but eventually left all social media because of this. Fast forward to today and here we are again. As a like long time toker I recently took up growing and man have I loved it! Yes the high is great but the grow, the grow is what has helped me more. Again I’ll explain…I am medically diagnosed with severe panic and anxiety disorder, ptsd and depression. Weed has always helped me with this as this has been a life long struggle of mine. As the growing has become more and more a part of me I wanted a way to release. A way to share my new hobby and passion. Then I saw this post on the Seedsman website about a community. I decided I’ll give it a try so I could release this new found energy. Boy things were great, amazing even. I was able to share pics, ask questions and learn a whole lot more since the beginning of this community than I ever did online. Met some AMAZING people and AMAZING growers and I started to feel part of a community again. A sense of togetherness. A place that truly has made me a better grower and a better person. My mental health has improved as well. Unfortunately the bottom fell out recently and had to have reconsiderations and thoughts about what I want to be a part of again. I will not call out specific situations as I am not one to do so but shame on those that have taken for granted the reasons we are here. To share the love of this amazing plant and to have a community! A place to lift each other up and help each other other out as well as meet new friends, growmies and other passionate growers. This is a place to have each other’s back not stab each other in the back. I am not here for any giveaways or titles so count me out. I am here for the fun, the peeps and the knowledge. Shame on those who want to ruin things for others for personal game. So the next time a thought is had that may have ripple effects and consequences on the group think long and hard about how much it effects the little guys like me that are just looking for a sense of belonging and community.i am not here to make friends but I have and I thank those of you that have made a difference in my grow journey. I have to give personal thanks to @Smokeout81, @IndicaDaDavida, @RidgeDandy, @og_growgirl_sfv, @SweetBuds @Steven, @SweetsensiWA and many many more for the amazing conversations and all the incredible info on growing. It doesn’t go unnoticed at least in this house! So as lay here on my grow room floor I beg you to think twice before any of you post something negative that can impact an entire community! If any of this strikes a nerve with you then maybe you should rethink your idea of community. I may have fallen on the sword for this post but screenshot it, write it down I don’t give af! Positivity over negativity! Love over hate! Until then I’ll be on the sidelines until it feel like a community again. Thanks again for all those that put the effort and time in. Fritz here, signing out

Appreciate your support! I dont like ruffle feathers but it should really always be about the people first! The people are what matter
Agreed! And in a time cannabis is being attacked taking over! Hippies stuck together! Government should have just listened and everyone would’ve been that way. Crazy times
Forgot:you already know I got yo back bro!
We all need to stick together and not create divisions within. The anti weed industry wins when that happens. I know you got my back bro! Just as I got yours!![]()
You see the chat? I sent
@Fritzbotanicals i most certainly read every word and agree 100%. I dont do social media either. Im an ol laid back easy goin hippy. Lots of times i put myself out in an attempt to help others but its what makes me feel good so ill continue being me. They will always be negative people around tho that try to ruin a good thing. We cant let em win!
Well fritzy old boy, we love you man, and I understand completely what you mean. I also, read every word you wrote. Although I’m a little confused on the whole thing, as we were out of the loop it seems, I feel for you, and want you to know that you are an important part of the community, and I enjoy the talks and posts you have put up
I suffer from the same stuff as you, and I really love being a part of the community, just for that reason alone, and the reasons I enjoy the community is because of people like you that are a part of it.
So please stay around, continue to be you, so I can continue to be in touch with you.

One can sometimes feel like a little grain of sand on a great big beach, but without the single grains, there would be no beach .
When adversity rears it’s ugly head, just stare that big ugly SOB right back, and say “not today”, today belongs to me![]()

excellent post @Fritzbotanicals - don’t really know what happened and have been away, but understand and agree with you 100% - don’t and never have used any social media, and what you put forward as your feeling of what this community offered totally resonates, felt the same way - and appreciated that initial experience… keep that spark lit thru the changes, it outlasts all the noise and lives in us no matter the platform… and is shared with all here who keep it lit and feel it too… blessed to have ‘met’ you brother and thanks for sharing your heart
Well put I like it![]()

I agree 100%.
I also avoid social media. Bad seeds will use the relative anonymity of the internet to say things they would never have the nerve to say to someone’s face. And even folks who are mostly good people can sometimes get caught up in a situation and say stuff they later regret.
You are a valued member of this community.
Take a deep breath through some burning cannabis and remember that sometimes even family and friends can tick you off. The way you react is the thing you control. You can hold a grudge, you can forgive and forget, you can isolate from everyone. Choice two can be the toughest, but the most rewarding in the long run because that means personal growth.
Stay strong. Inhale the good sh!t, exhale the bad sh!t.
Good advice.
I hear you, truly. Community spaces can lift us up, and they can challenge us too. The people who show up with kindness, curiosity, and a willingness to support others — those are the ones who give a space its character.
There will always be moments or individuals who make things feel heavier than they should. But the tone of a community is shaped by the people who stay, who lead with positivity, and who help guide it back to what it’s meant to be.
If you still want to be here, don’t ever feel pushed out. Take whatever time you need, and come back when you choose to. And when you do, bring the energy you want reflected — sometimes that’s how a space grows into something better.
Your presence matters. Your voice matters. And many of the people who make this place feel supportive are still here too.

Everybody has been nice to me!
Hey @kalimusicman – it puts that prompt as the topic is in the Growing and Learning solutions category so it wants the thread to have an answer (the green check box) once this is checked then the thread will automatically lock. I will move this one to an area where it won’t lock.
