Loving all that green! I’m definitely locked in and seriously looking forward to how these all turn out.

beautiful bud footage brother
Very professional set up dude, looks awesome. What would you say is the most valuable piece of advice you have for someone just starting out with living soil and cover crops? My current soil is more a a mishmash of my leftover happy frog soil and some promix so its not very authentic. For my next grow I’m getting fully living soil from a local company though. And what are your thoughts on the variety of cover crops you have for indoor? Are there any you would remove from the mix if you could, or others you would add? I’m currently using white clover just because gpt suggested it for the space constraints but I’m open to suggestions. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you everyone for your lovely comments but really not much it is down to me. The Ecothrive living soil, AC infinity controller and autopots are doing all the heavy lifting. The scrogging keeps you busy at first, now I’m just watching colas grow and it’s a bloody good show.
Get your self a worm bin, I find with all the chopping of cover crop and the defoliation of leaves is too much material for the pots, it can take a while to breakdown especially if you keep topping it up which you wilI be if your keeping up with the maintenence. I probably drop 10% and put the rest into my worm bins which is just two 30 litre fabric pots. One for most of leaves and cover crop, the other is some leaves, cover crop, all the fruit and veg waste from the kitchen. My thinking is I have castings for veg and for flower. You’ll need to add bedding for the worms, coco coir works great. I also add a mineral mix to the bins, it adds calcium and such to your castings but it also helps the worms digest their food as worms don’t have teeth.
As far as cover crop, the more varieties the better, living soil is all about biodiversity. Although I have heard some folks have root vegetables in their cover crops and I would advise against the use of them as they are hungry crops taking away more than than they add in my opinion. My local store only has a 7 seed cover crop and I think its only barley and rye that grow big in my mix. If you have anything that goes crazy, you just chop it at the base the roots will dye and become worm food. Win win.

Thank you for the fantastic advice! I’ll set up a spare fabric planter right now and go find some worms.![]()
Sup folks,
The girls have 12 days of flower behind them now and the has started to make the canopy a bit uneven but overall I’m pretty pleased with how this run is coming along
The last two are of the Watermelon Zittles and the buds are starting form up nicely.

Very nice.
Sup folks,
I was greeted by the first sweet notes today when I opened up the tent. Oh I’m excited for the Watermelon Zittles, the bud are really starting to develop now. I’ve pretty much finished off my supply so can’t wait untill she will be ready. She has been quite low maintance too, barely had to do any defoliation other than the accidental branch snaps. A pleasure to grow.
Looks like the Epic Buzz has started to stretch up a bit now but definitely still lagging behind in the back there.
The Lemon Cherry Gelato and Cherry Poppers are just beautiful plant to me.
I gave them all a quick 1.5 litres of Bio-Blend today. That’s 100ml per litre of water and it’s mushroom compost that you shake vigorously for one min to activate. They do seem to enjoy thier shrooms. Not much else to do just now, I’m gonna be doing a big defoliation on Sunday/Monday and making a cannabis FPJ from all the leaves and unwanted bud sites.

Wow, super lush. I’m going to try that aloe recipe.
Nice! That tents looking really good ![]()
soooo beauteous… i’m gonna try that aloe recipe too! my girls are 3 weeks flowering tomorrow and they’ve been vibrating some very sweet notes when i open the door in the morning… going to go feed them now - thanks for the inspirational boost along the way your plants are looking amazing ![]()
Sup folks,
Thank you everyone for your positive vibes and lovely comments. They mean a lot to me.
I think I may have vegged for a little long (five weeks from seed) to have a proper scrog, I feel with four plants in a 4x4 I could probably get away with just a three week veg. Still debating how many I should have on my next run. Two plants would make maintaining the canopy easier but I do enjoy having multiple flavours. Tough decision.
I’ve put a trellis screen on this evening as the stretch still on going and I wanted to lean, a few of the very tall tops to get them back under the light as two of them had grown outside the light coverage on the egde of my tent.
Peace and love

Just bend the taller ones down, that’s a sign of good gardening
So much green! So beautiful like this as well. I get jealous when I see good lush canopies like this lol but at the same time also inspires me
It’s just scrogging method. Once you figure that out yours is going to look like that too
Happy 420 folks,
Hope you’re all flying high today.
Major defoliation completed and some FPJ is being brewed.
Peace and love
