First grow has officially started

Update 4/9/26: The girls are growing big! The NASC is stretching a bit more than the SS pheno, so I’m thinking maybe I fix the height of the light? I adjusted the light for the NASC already lowered it closer to the seedling. What’s your opinion? They were watered the night I took these photos.

Light conditions have been optimal, the girls have been praying every day and showing new growth every day as well. I raised the lights a bit as they’re both about 4-5 inches tall. One pheno is absolutely going to be bigger than the other so that’s an unexpected turn.

Everything has been going amazingly! I have been trying to limit how often I’ve been posting, and I hadn’t realized how much time has passed here! Update coming tonight around 8pm cst.

UPDATE 4/14/26: Week 3 day 4 for the SS pheno. Week 3 day 1 for the NASC pheno.

Maaaan when I tell you these plants keep me surprised! The amount of growth that has happened in the last checks calendar 2 ish weeks has been stunning. My environment has been flourishing and I can’t be happier. They show no signs of needing to be fed yet so I am waiting until about week 4, or towards the middle of week 4.

Even though the NASC pheno is behind, she is taller and a bit leafier than her SS counterpart. You can tell these are going to be two different phenos for sure. Heres a photo dump of these last few weeks.

here are my current conditions for the tent. Humidity is a bit higher than I like but that was a si.ple fox with the humidifier. I might see if I even need it still with this particular run.

UPDATE 4/16/26:

Just went on to weigh the girls and they aren’t in need of water quite yet, but they will get a watering tomorrow night after some more dry back. I’ve been watering essentially every other day. Getting to the point where the girls are going to start drinking a gallon each. The SS pheno is almost 5 nodes tall, which means it will more than likely be topped along with LST, while the NASC pheno will only receive LST. I’m playing small risk experiments with this grow. Here’s a photo of the girls

1st and 4th pictures are of the SS pheno, 2nd and 3rd pictures are of the NASC pheno.

Look good. Dark green, healthy look like indica dominant strain. Keep posting!:love_you_gesture:

We don’t really pay too much attention to VPD. We also don’t really run warm either. But that also depends on where you live, and are growing.

I’d like to see some photo references, that’s be awesome! I do need to work on training her, especially since she’s entering her next stage of growth already.

UPDATE 4/18/26:

Pistols have sprouted overnight! It’s said that sour diesel is a shorter plant and boy howdy do I believe it. She’s officially entering her flower stage. So that will be 4-6 weeks of flower. That’s a generous amount of time for her to hit her stretch and start budding up. As her flowers grow, I will tweak the humidity and temperature conditions to match her growth. Both have entered the flowering stage at the same time, which is also insane. First photo is the SS pheno, second photo is the NASC pheno.

Y’know the crazy part??? Sour diesel is predominantly known for being a sativa heavy hybrid so it is gnarly seeing so much indica dominant expressions in this pheno. Definitely a worthy grow worth keeping note of.
