One of my biggest challenges when i started was germination. I tried many different techniques, with various outcomes. Now, my go to method is rapid rooter cubes. Drop a seed into a cube and 3 days later i have life. I litget 90% rate with the rapid rooter cubes. Now my only challenge is paying attention to what im doing, and trying to remember what i did. A notepad comes in handy now days.
Seedsmans won’t warranty your seeds from them if you just plop them in. They recommend the Canna kan or paper towels.

I once had a fungus gnat problem that was a real struggle. Used mosquito bits every other water for about 3 weeks and overcame it with some nice produce. Now I don’t risk just washing fabric pots, I use new. Not sure if that’s why they were as bad as they were, but using new I don’t get any and used to always see a couple with reused pots.

Fungus knats like wet or water. If you have wicking system or resivour I recommend using the BTI. You can also use 1ch of perlite on top of the pots. It deters adult flys from laying eggs in the soil.

I used sand to help prevent them from getting back in to lay eggs. Perlite sounds like a good option too!
We seen sand as an option too, but we had perlite laying around so, make the best of what cha got
Hey everybody, it’s me again! Bringing in my story about the most difficult experience I’ve had; CLONING!
Like many others I’ve got my little setup just for clones; a smaller light, a clone dome and tray, rooting cubes, and cloning gel- even a step further I use Clonex gel AND the liquid cloning solution. My terrible experience with cloning is with the dome. At one point I didn’t know they come in so many variables and I was not getting the right height due to being cheap. The smaller the dome, the more intense the light is gonna be (assuming you’re like me and have that little light sitting right on top on the dome).
In short, getting the right size could mean clone success and not.
