Grove Bags vs. Jars

Groves are my go to!
They save space, have science behind them and remove having to “burp!”
the bags can actually “exhale” but not “inhale”, ive tried putting “almost” dried buds in a Grove to see how well the mold protection works ( 5/6 day dried flowers) and whatever i put in it, dried and cured out nicely!

My advice is keeping them in the shadiest, coolest area you can store them in a STABLE environment under 70f

My only problems with them, is if you are stacking them on top of each other, you might “deform” a few buds, and the zippers arn’t glued on too well but you should be leaving them closed, i keep my “head stash” in a CVault!

Zip them shut when you pack them, and leave them until the cure is finished, and if you know youll be opening and closing it constantly, use glass or a CVault/whatever AFTER the cure to store the buds in!

…as i mentioned before, this is why I start curing in the bags… kind of a buffer if you’re not positive of drying state before curing. The bags will ‘cushion’ the transition (imho) . After a month-2 in the bags, I repack glass for long term storage in glass.

Oh and that ‘middle’ finger emoji is too close to a thumbs up for my tired eyes LOL

Gotta be careful on picking the right one

Helpful answer! I too used both after this years fall harvest, with mixed results

For me you needed to dry the weed correctly before you heat seal the bags…the zip strips are not enough. Additionally, I put a small hydrometer in each bag so I can see that’s it’s maintaining 58-62% humidity.

I like bags but they have their limitations. I use bags to cure but for storage I recommend jars. Somehow the bags seem to let the flower get a little too dry if stored for a long time.

You guys are are fancy.

A less fancy but practical use for them I saw on reddit: In reference to some of the bags’ zip locks breaking, instead of throwing them out, someone mentioned to recycle them by using them directly as lids for the jars with an elastic to hold it. I thought it was a pretty cool idea (if it works lol). I’ll try it out next harvest as an experiment with 1 jar along side just the bags and report back in a a couple months:saluting_face:

Let us know how it keeps the flavor

Fancy? Ain’t fancy lol keeping my bud fresh foo

A jar does that to. When you go to the dispensary what kind of jars are they in?

Never been in one but the bud sucks lol…I didn’t like jars or humidity packs

Never! Wow! Virgin

Lol yeah never…non around here close enough anyways

We’re spoiled in Washington.

All fancy n sh!t over there
