Growing medicine

I began cultivating at home when doctors misdiagnosed me and wouldn’t do anything for my chronic pain, autonomic dysfunction, and severe depression. A friend of mine sourced some flower for me and it worked so well that I decided to get a med card. Now several years (and correct diagnoses) later, I’m starting to grow my own because the quality of my local dispensaries has diminished and gone up in price due to the monopoly in my state. I often wake up and first thing I do when I get out of bed is check my girls with a pat of cannabutter in my coffee. My cat often joins me when I tend to my plants, so it’s a nice little bonding experience for us. He likes to sniff the leaves, and has made himself a little bit of a bed in the box of miscellaneous gardening supplies under my grow table, so that’s often us time. Growing definitely gives me a much deeper appreciation for the plants themselves. I’m gearing up to complete my second harvest, and I can definitely say that it’s sharpened my observational skills. Cultivation has given me much better quality weed to help with my chronic pain. On bad days, it’s a way to relax a bit, on good days, it gives me my life back for a few hours. I definitely could not appreciate this plant more.
