This run I’m trying a few breeders I’ve never ran before. I’ve done some Compound but none of the others.
What I’ve got going is;
4x Ethos Capjunky x Endgame #3
4x of each Barney’s Farm/Doja callab RS11 x Banana OG and Cookie Casket (The Hearse x Thin mint Cookies)
2x Compound Luxar-Dos
2x Always Be Flowering Runtz S1
Was doing 3 of each but one of the Runtz seeds was premature and didn’t pop and a LD was very weak so replaced with extra BF/Dojas. Stunted the others by leaving in starter pots too long to let them catch up a bit. Last picture is day 1 of flower.
Never needed, I just wait for seed to pop in water and planted direct to get ~100%.
I knew the Runtz seed looked premature before I tried it, you can see the pale one in the picture. The other LD did pop it just stalled at first set of leaves
I used to think if they sunk they were good, but now I know for sure that’s a myth. If you use peroxide soak you can get them to pop in less than 24hrs.
All these popped and planted in less than 24h. The ethos in 12, very vigorous. I used bottled Evian water, a little biobizz Activera aloe extract and a couple drops of Superthrive. H2O2 can help older seeds, these are were fresh and stored in the fridge.
Sprinkle this stuff in the planting hole and on the roots during transplant
Day 8 of flower. Starting to stretch out a bit, they are a little smaller than I usually flip as I wanted them to finish before the July heat.
One of the CJ x EG3 is stretching a lot, will put her in the corner as she’s struggling with the light levels there and blocking some light from the others.
Day 11 of flower. Still stretching out nicely hopefully they keep going. Put the tall one in the corner and she’s preferring it there. Still looking nice and healthy, will top dress in a ~week with some flowering amendments and worm castings to get them breaking down before bulking starts.
My mix started as 100L Ecothrive ‘Living Soil’ like yours for the biology, 100L Ecothrive Coco with Charge, 50L worm castings and 50L Hydrocorn. With a bunch of amendments, 3 years old now just reamending and still going great.
