Lemon Cherry Cookies- first automatic grow

Keep us updated on how she is doing

What will you grow?

Will post an update later, after I fed her.

I’ve got about 7 different strains right now

Lemon cherry cookies. I got a bunch not long ago

Day #28

Well, looks like I waited a bit too long to water her again… The leaves were quite droopy when I opened the tent.
But other than that she’s doing well and already showing a bit of color :eyes:

Gave her a little more than last time:

  • 1,5 Liter of water of which 400ml are a Hesi SuperVit and water solution (mixed 1 drop with 1,5 l of water)
  • 3,75 ml Hesi Bio Grow
  • 3,75 ml Hesi Bio Bloom
  • 3 ml Advanced Nutrients True Organics Ancient Earth

This is her a about 8 hours later:

You are doing better than I am at this point. Humidity is very low and I can’t humidify enough to justify my utilities for one auto. I’m gonna try and keep it steady and see what she does. You got some really good work going on and I’ll just say stay the course @CptGreen

Day #30

Holy moly, this plant is one thirsty lady… Pot was pretty light and her leaves were drooping again.

Because of that I upped the feed. Also switched to full flowering nutrients and added Advanced Nutrients True Organics Big Bud.
This is what she received:

  • 2 Liter of water of which 500ml are a Hesi SuperVit and water solution (mixed 1 drop with 1,5 l of water)
  • 10 ml Hesi Bio Bloom
  • 4 ml Advanced Nutrients True Organics Ancient Earth
  • 4 ml Advanced Nutrients True Organics Big Bud

Looking good :+1:, my grape ape was taking almost 2 gallons of water a day when it was in full flower mode.
Some of them have a large appetite!!

Day #33

Well, time for an update again.
The Lemon Cherry Cookies is doing well and growing beautifully. Yesterday it was time to feed her again.

After I fed her, I also removed some leaves for the light to reach the lower bud areas better and to allow better airflow. Just took off 9 leaves, not to stress her too much.

After the haircut:

This is what she looks like today. Nicely praying to the sun god and showing more color

I have noticed some discoloration on two of the bigger top leaves. Could this be a sign of magnesium deficiency?

Looking nice. Looks like the start of Calcium deficiency to me with the yellowing tops. Magnesium would start lower on older leaves as it’s a mobile nutrient and go paler between the leaf veins rather than darker and also usually see red stripy stems.
If it keeps spreading and going purple instead of brown it could be slight Phos deficiency.

Okay, that’s strange as the tab water already has a fairly high calcium concentration

And shouldn’t it get enough potassium, especially as I started adding Big Bud?

Calcium getting blocked

Yeah, that is on the lower end for Calcium if that is just Ca ion PPM, but that could be in carbonate form so only 40% ~45PPM actual Ca. Unless that’s an irrigation water report?
I don’t think it’s Phos, spots are just looking slightly purple at the moment but too early to say it’s that, fairly sure it’s Ca. Canna is a very Ca hungry plant. Also Calcium Carbonates in tap water aren’t immediately available and heave to break down before the plant can absorb the Ca, the humic acid will be helping chelate it.

What I’ve posted is from a local water report.
I reckon I should give it some CalMag with the next watering then?

Thanks man, trying my best to keep her happy and healthy

What does it taste like?
