Life Is All About Growth!

Well to start off, my first grow was an outdoor grow in 2023. I knew nothing about growing cannabis but had wanted to for over a decade and simply didn’t have the time or money to invest in it adequately up until then. I spent most of 2024/2025 renovating our home to prepare to move in late 2025. Fast forward to January 2026 and I was finally able to get back into growing but it had to be indoors this time! This took a massive amount of research and rethinking on how I was going to make that successful. Now I couldn’t imagine not cultivating this gorgeous plant! I have a daily routine, once in the morning and once at night I check my lovely ladies and give them whatever kind of tender, love, and care they could potentially need. I often vibe out to music and have a jam session with the gals as they sway in the breeze to the music. :green_heart: It is not only my peaceful time in which I find therapeutic. We can all agree growing can be work but it rarely feels that way when its something you deeply and genuinely enjoy to your core. That is how it makes me feel. I have grown an infinity and respect for cannabis as it has helped me with chronic pain resulting from a lower back fracture playing ice hockey when I was young, PTSD, and general stress/anxiety. Growing isn’t for everyone but if you’ve ever considered if it’s something you’d be interested you may just be shocked by how captivating it truly can be. Yes I love the end result but the journey there is so much more meaningful and makes the fruits of labor soooo much more rewarding. When looking for seeds the #1 thing i consider 1st before anything else are genetics, then genetics, and then genetics. Later I can consider the rest such as type of enviornment they thrive, certain strains, sativa-indica dominance, photoperiod/autoflower, density/aroma/flavors, harvest time, etc. Great genetics are the foundation and the foundation determines how effective everything else can be. There is never just one factor to a grow that dictates the final outcome but genetics will always play a pivotal part in that equation. That is why I always trust Seedsman with my seeds! They have phenomenal genetics that have always come through for me. I have also personally had a 100% germination rate across every seed and all feminized seeds have produced female plants. They’re also always informative, affordable, and prompt. You can’t go wrong with seedsman! Excited to be joining the community. Here’s some pictures of 2 of the 4 plants left from this grow I took tonight. These 2 are Gorilla Candy Autos by of course seedsman. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:I’m seeing amber on the calyx finally! The sugar leaves have had some amber for several weeks now but we know those turn way earlier. Waiting until i see 10-20% amber on the calyx. Thoughts and advice are always encouraged. I love learning! :oncoming_fist::grin::smiling_face_with_sunglasses::melting_face::green_heart:
