What would you expect for yield?

Hey fellow growmies,

Have a question for the group on expectations of yield on a plant. I currently have a peyote Zkittlez strain that will be moved to a 32 gallon container (currently in 15 gallon) tomorrow. It has had a 6 month veg cycle so far, and is expected to have another 2 to 2 1/2 months worth of veg outside before being flipped to flower. Current size of plant is 38" wide by 38" deep by 11" tall.

Wondering what everyone’s expectations of yield (both wet/dry) will be once it finishes? If you have any insight on helping yields please elaborate in the comments below. I will let everyone know the outcome once she finishes. TIA for all comments.

No idea sorry, but I can’t wait to see it !

Looks good. I honestly wouldn’t go that long on a veg period Id focus on getting the canopy open in readiness for flower. Looks good though!

And given the end container volume you are likely going to be around 10 lbs wet and 2 dry

I guess it depends on the light you are giving it, are you going to flower outside as well or indoors? indoors, there’s a cap on the light u have. But outdoors, its a mystery :crystal_ball:. Cant wait to see what she becomes.

It’s gonna be over a 1 lb. but I don’t think it will quite get 2 lbs. Nice looking plant.

I’m also going with just under 2 elbows dried. I see the potential for more, but I’d error on the safe side, do the transplant, wait about a week or 2 to get it good and healthy and flip it. It’s still going to about double in size when the flower power kicks on and it starts stretching

Outdoors, she will definitely yield 2 pounds (dry):green_heart::maple_leaf::love_you_gesture:t2:

@Coqui420bud she will be flowered outdoors as well. She has 38 main branches (thickness of a fine tip highlighter pen), 120+ secondary branches (thickness of a thin colored pencil) and at least 200+ side branches (toothpick sized). Main stock is 1 3/4" diameter. Hoping it doubles in size or more across the 2+ months of veg outdoors before flower.

With the information that you posted(which frankly isn’t a lot), you will yield 20 grams-2 pounds…depends on how much light, feeding, water, etc. and where grown.

Yeah im thinking maybe 2- 2 1/2lbs wet maybe. But im new and my opinion really dont matter lol. But it sounds like even though she is big her stems might not hold hold up. But cant wait to see what happens.

@MrNice , understood bud. I did change the pot size from the 32 gallon pot I was going to do to a 55 gallon(25" x 25" x 22"), open bottom to connect to native soil to hopefully allow more root expansion during the outdoor flowering process. Kept her low indoors to receive even canopy lighting during winter/spring growth, but will be allowing her to grow wider/deeper/taller in the mountain sunlight during summer/fall seasons. Will keep updates on her on this thread. I appreciate your honest input.

Spread her out alil bit let that light shine! Give her all she can take with out burning of course…more light now better ending (decrease as buds get bigger)

@Smokeout81, Will do. Have a bunch of experimental and crosses going on, pushing myself as well as these beauties to their theoretical limits, to see the outcomes (whether good or bad) of the their physical attributes.

Currently have a grafted plant, seeding of autoflowers photoperiod and crosses between both, an aeroponic setup for both autoflowers and photoperiod, a basic hydroponic (dwc) for both autoflowers and photoperiod, and organic soil setups going to see differences in terpene profiles, cannabinoid content, and structure of strains (cloned for exactness of starting setups) running through all setups mentioned above.

I appreciate all the insight you, as well as most everyone else has given myself, as well as fellow growmies.

Nice! Nothing wrong with pushing yourself brother :flexed_biceps: how we achieve and grow! We are the future of this sh!t :100:

You have DWC?

@SweetBuds , yes ma’am. I use a couple 5 gallon buckets (food grade) and run a 2" airstone per bucket (so technically 3.25-3.5 gallons of water).

Sweet we just tore our hydro system apart so we can do recirculating deep water culture system .

@SweetBuds , if I may suggest, aeroponics systems (for a multi bucket system) could cost less than $100 (for up to 4-5 gallon bucket setup) and you can set these up to run multiple different strains for 1/4 of the price of running them compared to the constant cost of perpetually running hydroponics. As well as about 1/3 of the amount of fertilizer used in this setup.

I have looked into it I’m not sure I understand how it works quite yet and ya our electric sky high not in summer though lol

I’m gonna find a aeroponic step by step grow guide I can use. I can’t remember things anymore so I have to make photos for the walls :joy:
