its great to see the process unfold like this, for new growers and even with growing 20 years its just like day one still lol - and this is all new, getting to see other people’s grows! so i appreciate the photos and am excited to see this baby blueberry blossom  have already learned so much in this community its awesome… like i never thought about doing a cover crop on an indoor grow - does the clover grow thru the entire cycle? i know about cover crops with agriculture outdoors and am guessing its similar, but never even thought of it for inside! i love how its like all these little green friends for the sprout to hang out with lol

I had twins a couple runs ago too, I did surgery and grew them both.

That’s what I want to do to see if they are different! Always nice to get a freebie.

They were Karma Pink Bacio. Both were very similar, wouldn’t say identical like clones, but they were the only 2 Pink Runtz dominant out of the 6, other 4 Bacio leaning.

Funny thing I only bought 4 seeds, pack came with an extra seed and got twins so got 6 plants. :seedling:

Honestly it’s my first time adding cover crops, and I had been seeing others post theirs on rdt and they all had good things to say. As for the white clover specifically, I asked ai for the best cover crops for cannabis in a 5 gallon fabric planter, and it seem3d like the best option for manageability and benefits.

I’ll help if ya dont mind!? Prevention of weeds! Stops soil compaction and actually help all around at keeping soil healthy.

They help with the things mentioned above, as well as keeping the soil from drying out, better soil composition, adds nutrient when mulched. Like buckwheat will make phosphorous more available to when mulched, and clover for nitrogen. But I also found this interesting for Buckwheat, without mulching: “Root exudates can increase P availability in the rhizosphere while both plants share soil, potentially improving uptake if cannabis roots reach that zone.” It adds organic matter and improves your soil, which then feeds microbes and inproves microbial activity, which firther helps nutrient availability. I’m no expert, please someone correct me if I’m off, but I hope this helps a bit. What i did immediately noticed, is that when top watering with the cover it doesn’t disturb the soil much.

Cool I’ve read a little about it and have some understanding. Thank you for sharing. Initially one’s mind thinks they will compete for nutrients but actually are beneficial. I also love that you notice and mention the soil disruption not happening with the cover crop. That alone is a major plus in my opinion let alone the benefits for the microbes. Thanks again growmie.
