1998 F4 BlueberryđŸ« and Peyote WIFI🏜

We’ve all been there done that. Sometimes it’s just the plant being easily susceptible I think. Just keep trudging through sometimes it turns out great anyways and well
sometimes it don’t. :wink::hugs:

Update, 98’ Blueberry - Day 59, and Peyote WIFI Day - 32: The Blueberry has all been topped over the last few days. Both are showing consistent growth. I’ve topped the Peyote WIFI at the apical tip, but the rest will just be folded in the trellis net. Not much else for now, have a great rest or the week everyone!

Update, 98’ Blueberry - Day 67, and Peyote WIFI - Day 40: The Blueberry is still progressing slowly, while the Peyote WIFI is taking off. Today I gave a pinch to about half of the Peyote WIFI stems, mostly near certain tops and a few along the length stems. I would have wanted to wait until the Blueberry was 100% healthy again and growing at a “normal” rate before flowering, but the Peyote WIFI is going to end up too big if I wait much longer. I’ll give it about a week to heal, then set the lights to 12/12 to start flowering.

Update, 98’ Blueberry - Day 72, and Peyote WIFI - Day 45: So I started flowering a bit earlier than I said, and started 12/12 a few days ago and we should be going into the 3rd day of flowering today. At this moment it’s closer to 2.5 days since the flip. I gave both plants a dose of chitosal (oligochitosan and salicin), on the same day which their water, which is supposed to “improve plant vigor”, as well as “promote tolerance to salt, heat, and drought, improve photosynthetic activity, and enhance flowering and fruit yield”. First time trying this product. I"ll be feeding this once every 2 weeks for at least 3 more doses. I also re-inoculated with some microbial mass, added humic and fulvic acids, a small amount of kelp extract, and a some potassium silicate. I also pinched a couple more spots today, mainly the two Peyote WIFI tops that are higher than the rest. Both plants are doing pretty good at the moment. I let the Peyote WIFI get a little dry, though I just watered it, she still looks a bit thirsty. Now the real patience starts. That’s it for right now, have a great night everyone!

Quick update pics: I took a clone of the Peyote WIFI a couple days, not much else but waiting and watering. Please excuse the terrible camera quality of the Galaxy s23. It has 3 lenses but only 1 out of every 10 pictures has the same colors that I’m looking at, like you can see in the nicer clone pics. We’re about 7 days into flower, so we should see signs of flowering in another 7 days, usually about 14 days from flip.

*The cutting was sliced on a roughly 65° angle, dipped the cut in Clonex, and planted in living soil. Watered with (5.5pH 0ppm) filtered water raised to 6.3pH with potassium silicate.

They look very healthy. When I first tried cloning decades ago, I just left them sitting in water until they had roots:sweat_smile:

Also good rooting method! I used to just plant them in soil without the clonex and it worked fine most of the time.

Ever since I started using Clonex, it’s given me a sense of confidence that things will work out. Before that, I’d only had two failures
